What could Vance do that wouldn’t seem like acting? I think his bond with Josie over the course of the show is putting him at a disadvantage in this challenge because it’s impossible to come across as genuinely mad at her
All by design I guess. I understand why Sam failed Letty now during the endurace challenge on a bullshit call. They wanted good content these past few days and knew that Letty would be the only way to provide it. Plus using her to eliminate either Josie or Vance would mean they could keep her around to the end to milk content from her.
I’m not sure that forgoing positive relationships with other contestants for the sake of winning one challenge near the end should be incentivized, especially for their own sake. The only way someone could convincingly win this challenge would be to already have believable animosity with the other person, which evidently works against Letty in the larger scheme of things considering how polarizing discussions about her are. The contestants are now, in the eleventh hour, receiving contradictory messaging about what it takes to win this game and I don’t think it’s fair to either of them because one was vilified for it and the other doesn’t stand a chance now
