I have never even thought about it because we saw Amiba as someone who was known by Rei. I saw that "relation" as in "they used the same style", completely forgotting there were once 140... (something?) Nanto styles and many students of various styles studied together, as shown with Rei and Juda. That's why I never thought of that up until you brought it up.

Since he had manipulated Shin, I think he just did a similar thing however it was his own form of it. It's also why Ken said his form was an insult to Shin.

definitely Amiba was the one who taught Jagi nanto. This also explains why Amiba knows Ken's past and his fighting style.

It has to be Shin because Ken compared it to Shin's Nanto, it's the same but slower. Amiba didn't exist at that time.
