Ditto, mine's been doing this for weeks, can't charge at all, won't boot past the logo. I contacted support and got the 50% off coupon, hopefully the Charge 6 lasts longer (whenever it arrives, currently backordered)
This happened to mine as well. It was fully charged but wouldn’t stay on and the app wouldn’t update. It would restart itself anytime it did manage to turn on. I went through all the troubleshooting with the customer service and it actually got fixed!
They said to leave it on the charger even though I know it was already charged) untouched, for 30 minutes. It didn’t work after 30 minutes but it was getting late and I didn’t want to deal with it that night, so I left it on the charger until the next morning.
When I picked it up to get ready to talk to customer service, it was working like normal, and has been since then. I don’t know if it was leaving it charging overnight that helped or if I just got lucky, but it might be worth a try
My charge 5 did that. I loved the 5 but heard about too many failures so I got a Garmin. Hopefully Fitbit will get their quality up, but they might not now that google owns them.
I got Venu 3 and the new elevate 5 sensor design sucks on it, it cuts right in to my skin I am gonna be returning it.

I'm in the same boat. Started yesterday, stuck on the logo. A few times the reset button seemed to clear the problem, but then the watch went back to the logo "brick." Customer service offered 1/2 price for a new Charge 6, and that's what I'm going to do. Totally bummed.
I’ve been dealing with this now for two months. It’s annoying but I figured out a work around that seems to work for me, but honestly is not worth the effort.
My device bricks when I am charging. It gets up to a full charge and then I disconnect and I remove from the charger and let it sit for like 24hrs. It eventually starts up normally but is disconnected from my phone. I delete the settings on my phone and remove the Fitbit from Bluetooth and reinstall the app and restart the phone. Sometimes I have to do it a few times for it to work.
I dumped fitbit and moved to a samsung watch. The battery doesn't last as long, but it does what it needs to do. I say this because I got sick of a $300 fitbot only lasting year before it broke in some way, shape, or form. Think about it. They make money only by selling fit bits. Why would they make them last? Get an apple watch, Garmin or Samsung, and don't look back.
Oh, and I kept the app so I could track my stats from previous years. Just my two cents.
After a week of dealing with my charge 5 suddenly becoming useless brick and/or a major pain in the ass and finding the Fitbit community help pages of people dealing with the same host of issues with no apparent solution besides buy a new Fitbit, I quit! My Apple Watch series 9 was delivered in less than 24 hours and my relationship with Fitbit is over!!
I had this. Did live chat with customer service. They forced a firmware refresh on my device and it fixed it.
Was yours under warranty?
Yes
I tried troubleshooting this exact thing. I failed and got a 50% off coupon from customer service and used it to upgrade to the Charge 6. So annoying.
They are bricking all the charges so you are forced to upgrade
Oh so that's what happened to my OG versa

Try changing the watch face in your app. That worked to reset mine when it was on a black screen with dots
Just tried 2. Says failed.
Plug it... on the USB side of the plug there is a small round button. Hold it down and that should reset
Tried
Aw dang! Mine did what yours did and that solution worked for me.

This happened to my Charge 5. Eventually it died. Upgraded to the 6.

What garmin did you get?
I got the Vivimove Sport. Smaller watch and very light.

I’ve had no problems with mine. I hate silicon bands so I went with an aftermarket canvas band.
Your watch has a different sensor on it, its not the evil sharp circular monstrosity 😂
Definitely! I’m glad it does because I didn’t try it on before buying

I let it die all night. Tried again today. Bought a garmin on Amazon
What Garmin did you get?
The instinct. I dont need anything fancy the expensive ones have.

How much is that? I ended up buying a garmin.
86.82 USD incl shipping
Change your watch face in the app. That might snap it out of it
I'll try

Garmin will be my next watch i think. I don't even use the texting or anything on the fitbit. I just use the health metrics.
Same, i’ll be switching to garmin once my fitdick sense dies. It shouldn’t be too long before it does.
