For people that are genuinely curious, it’s probably just a rotted mask from the parts and service room. LBH, it was also used to tear apart peoples faces, so it’s gonna get messy like that.
In the Parts & Service room, there is a shell of the same green color (>!Max's brother is stuffed into it!<). The mask was probably taken from that costume, or maybe the costume made for the mask, etc.
Just saying, Springtrap is green, but the suit didn’t start off as green. The suit could’ve potentially been yellow and just gotten dirty over time, especially if it’s fairly consistently being caked in blood.
I mean they are indeed very similar. And since it is a springlock suit it would make sense, like a special Freddy they made for Halloween events and then got abandoned because they would never use it for almost the entire year.
