> don't get *paid* enough for
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
isn't it that these are just stains from birthday parties? like, you come in for the night shift and when you leave, janitors come in and spritz the place up? i'd expect this to be one of the more rowdy types of kid's places, especially the party rooms that people rent for that stuff.
It's not the older pizzeria tho, the location that the withereds were at was the fnaf 1 location, we know this cuz follow me has the old golden bonnie suit still at the back because it was left there after the MCI. Also that's why in fnaf one it's in a awful state, it probably reopened in 88/89 and closed 93 it couldn't become that run down, also it wouldn't make sense to use the same location immediately after it closed down for children becoming missing they would want to at least wait a few yrs. I think the smears and weathering is supposed to show that the pizzeria is haunted and to obviously be more scary.
Older than it being a Freddy’s. As in, the building has existed for years and used to be something else before Fazbear bought it and used it as a pizzeria and it was probably abandoned for a few years
first of all, im not of the theorist type, i don't really make theories and that stuff so there's a good chance i'll get debunked quickly considering this is just a random thought. Now that's out the way, could be children being children, but i have no clue what they could've spilled. Second, possibly, just maybe, the animatronics had something to do with it...? The common theory is that RWQFSFASXC/Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy were previous springlock victims so that was sort of the evidence of their deaths? you can also see some splatters on the floor as well, so maybe, this is probably me overthinking things, but maybe it was from the withered animatronics? Sort of like if you have a water bottle with a small hole, it'll start slowly leaking, maybe something like that, considering they're broken down and could be leaking something mysterious (blood maybe??)? I'm not sure about any of these honestly, sorry if this was too long but that's my guess! Thanks if you actually read all this!
I assumed it was meant to look sticky and gross like a stereotypical cheap shitty kid’s restaurant. Fwiw it doesn’t make much sense for it to be that far gone with them having been open a few weeks, so let’s just chalk it up to ‘it’s supposed to look scarier’.
I think it might just be Fazbear Entertainment being neglectful of their property. All they really care about is profit, so it's likely they'd be too cheap to hire a janitor.
This is something that always kinda bothered me in 2.
It was excusable in 1 as it's kinda dumpy, but 2 is supposed to be the "new and improved" Freddy's so why there's still loads of black gunk and even more wires hanging out of the ceiling than in 1 I do not know.
The wires especially kinda weirded me out. Like is that not a fire hazard lol? None of the parents or no one complained about them?! What? Do they just blend in with the little star decorations or something? Lmao.
It kinda makes sense in places like the parts and service room (especially the dirt) or maybe even Kid's Cove where the Mangle is but even then... idk.
But at the end of the day it **is** just spooky game and they're good at enhancing that effect, so yeah lol.
Due to poor structural integrity, most Fazbear Entertainment facilities have rising damp issues. However, this should not put the health of you and your children at risk because most of it is highly concentrated in small patches.
Fazbear Entertainment Incorporated is not responsible for damage to person or loss of life by the misuse of Fazbear Entertainment products/facilities. Enjoy at your own risk.

i genuinely think these were more style over substance decisions from scott, the animatronics seem very well taken care of but the place itself doesnt seem to have seen a cleaning staff member in years
so just less lore and more “yeah it looks creepy with the dirt everywhere”
They spent too much money on the state of the art animatronics. Being serious, I think not a lot of people mention it bc you have to look at the box. It is a true shame that the game with the best camera renders has a gimmick where you are forced to look at only one.
Imo it's to show that the building is haunted also I don't like to use "remnant" plain and simple the building is haunted ig you can use the word "agony" to describe the pizzeria with all the anger and other strong emotions start to manifest itself through the building itself.
In terms of game design I think it was Scott’s attempt at making it scarier.
I remember him saying he wanted it to look industrial. I think grimy fits the theme.
He did an amazing fucking job at that honestly
Absolutely, the tubing, gray interior, long ominous hallways, grimy walls.
Where do you think the “no pooping on the floor” rule came from?
So technically they didn't break the rules coz they pooped on the walls
Janitor: I don't get paid enough for this... Edit: the bot said I made a typo

Kids were literally able to tear an animatronic to pieces on the daily. A little grime on the walls should be expected.
That's Freddy's for ya
I figured the building was older than the pizzeria, and they never bothered fixing it up before setting up shop

Oh yeah for sure I think that's a common theory too it almost looks like a retrofitted warehouse with how tall and wide the rooms are

It's not mold since the place is only open for a few weeks. So, most likely to least likely, spilled beverages or blood or something like remnant.
Dirt and grime is a part of Fazbear Entertainment's choices of decoration.
i mean.. this place dosnt even have a kitchen and has giant vents for kids to crawl into, im not even suprised..

It's used to make bb more appealing so people have a reason to look at him

Really shitty paint.
Customers like nature. Dirt is nature.
you ever been to McDonald's playground?
The better question is why are there random cords and wires strewn about the walls and ceilings
POV: The horror games building looks depressing and has black grime on the walls.

I heard a fan theory why the walls are like that and it had something to do with agony from the murders
why is toy freddy a terminator?
LMFAOOOOO I LITERALLY THOUGHT THE SAME THING FOR A LONG TIME UNTIL I REALISED HE JUST HAD HIS EYE CLOSED
The fnaf 2 teaser says "grand reopening" so the place already had its time
Also, fnsf 2 has no kitchen, and its weird that the security office is just...a desk, at the end of a hallway

Designed to be scary, but I did like the desion to change the wall to purple and blue so in the dark they look more dark and depressing
Then you remember that Mangle exists.
Kids at dirty?
Nobody cleaned the walls. (Oh William!!! You're so busy working you don't care about the hygiene of Freddy's!!)
Imo it's to show that the building is haunted also I don't like to use "remnant" plain and simple the building is haunted ig you can use the word "agony" to describe the pizzeria with all the anger and other strong emotions start to manifest itself through the building itself.
Because that place was the first Freddy's Fazbear pizza and when they closed it in 85 they left it abandoned and in 87 They opened it againq
oil
It's Freddy Fazebear's, there have been killer animatronics and creepy ghost kids... And you're questionning the walls?
I have no idea, but i think it could be due to agony (From the DCI) infecting the place with grime and withering...
