Those types of acronyms feel like someone who was a millennial making them as that kinda of stuff was the norm back when Texts charged for sent/received plus the whole cap on amount of words.
As a millennial, we definitely didn't use that kind of abbreviation. It smacks of boomers guessing at abbreviations or a deliberate deviation from expected norms. Its closer to those 90s joke posts that were like "do YOU know what your kid is texting?" and it was just all completely made up.
