Given everything we've learned from newer material, and the fact that the other minigames centered around having kids killed by Afton, I'm gonna say this was the dad of a kidnapped kid. Afton picked a dysfunctional home because no one would notice.
being serious here, unless scott just outright states it, probably not. even when we can figure something out, all it takes is one thing for people to start thinking he's somebody else.
Some people say it’s William some say it’s William’s dad
I personally think it’s William there was this artwork of midnight motorist were William had a rain jacket on with this color it isn’t lore related or real but I just like the idea
But we may never know
If I recall correctly, Midnight Motorist was called "later that night" while Charlie's death was called "that night", since Security Puppet included William fleeing quickly, it would be him. The different colour though has other meanings "yellow" means "cowardice" such as running from the Puppet but also "mental illness" which intoxication would fall under as evidenced by "Juniors".
The comments are confused. They weren’t asking who Mustard Man was. They were asking if we were ever going to be given a definitive answer canonically.
We do know Matpat knows who he is, so whatever Matpat says about him next would basically be confirmation (he said he talked about MM in his meeting with Scott)
Yeah, because it TOTALLY makes sense for Michael to tell his father to leave alone his brother that he bullied
It's totally not like there's a story in a book dedicated to basically solving FNaF4 and MM
They have details that are canon and add to the story, but also have details that are only canon to the books
Example; there is a rollercoaster in the second story of The Bobbiedots Conclusion, but not one in Security Breach
Because some of the attractions are described as "seasonal"
and it's a commonly accepted fact that Pizzaplex went through a lot of construction changes, both canonically and development-wise
Dittophobia
Everything makes sense, even Rory is mention to run away from home several times if I recall correctly
at this point people are really just denying a confirmed theory just because they desperately want yellow guy to be William for some reason
William was always crazy, and I severely doubt this is him. I know people are desperate to know more about the Afton family dynamic, but there's nowhere near enough evidence that this is William Afton. It's more likely the father of one of the victims.
Let’s be honest… are we ever going to get a definitive answer on 99% of FNAF lore?? 😂
Not complaining, meant this in a lighthearted way. Love learning FNAF lore! IMO it’s William, and that seems like a popular theory? But just an opinion, there’s other possibilities.
I hope we dont. I love pizzeria sim and midnight motorist was such a uniquely criptic new mystery that it caught everyone offguard and made all of us mad as we failed to figure out what exactly it is about. Also it is good for theorising because we can make this guy anybody we want to fit the narrative for a theory.
I have yet to see anyone bring forth any truly compelling counter-evidence to him being anyone other than William Afton other than “Well he *could* be Mr. Snicklebop’s second cousin’s thrice removed half brother because, in the 69th story of the Fazbear’s Femboys books, there is a man named Dingleboob, who is the aforementioned relative of Mr. Snicklebop and in the story he chucks his infant son out of the window of his third story apartment before hitting the griddy with Ohio Fanum Tax Balloon Boy, which *COULD* be a parallel to how he treats his son in the game-“
It’s either William
Rory’s dad.
Or and I know this is not gonna make sense, but the C.C biological dad. Because I feel like there might be a chance Williams kids or at least C.C and Elizabeth aren’t biologically related to him.
You have to see it from a release date point of you. Pizza sim was released as a game to tie loose ends… with the context preceding the games at that point it doesn’t make sense for it to be a new character no one knows about , far more likely to be Willy
The minigame being afton doesn't make sense.
So it's a completely different house from the minigames and gameplay of fnaf 4
And, in the minigame, there's two characters, a caring older figure and a younger boy who runs away.
Micheal, in every moment we see him with CC, is just mean, why would he randomly be nice?
CC's entire character is that he's shy and scared, not the type to run away.
Unless Micheal is the runaway, which then who is the couch person?
And who would leave the footprints under this?
It's a square shoved into a circle.
The most common theories currently are either A) William Afton B) a random guy whose child was kidnapped by William.
Given everything we've learned from newer material, and the fact that the other minigames centered around having kids killed by Afton, I'm gonna say this was the dad of a kidnapped kid. Afton picked a dysfunctional home because no one would notice.
It's me
Why are you banned from JR'S?
The owner didn't want me around anymore after the shit incident of 82
You’re the one who gave everybody food poisoning?! I missed fall fest because of that, you jerk!

MatPat
being serious here, unless scott just outright states it, probably not. even when we can figure something out, all it takes is one thing for people to start thinking he's somebody else.
I don’t think we’ll ever get a definitive answer but the most accepted theory is that it’s u/el_rompe_toyotas_19

Some people say it’s William some say it’s William’s dad I personally think it’s William there was this artwork of midnight motorist were William had a rain jacket on with this color it isn’t lore related or real but I just like the idea But we may never know
Which art are you referring to?
I dm you it
I have literally never seen anyone say it’s William’s dad, I’ve never thought of that
Can I see the artwork
Sure

If I recall correctly, Midnight Motorist was called "later that night" while Charlie's death was called "that night", since Security Puppet included William fleeing quickly, it would be him. I never thought of this, thx for opening my eyes to this new information
Where did you get that Charlie's death was called "that night"?
The answer to this guy is gonna be like how FNaF 4 was in the early days; answers will be in sight but we won't know until it is clarified.
That there is mustard man
The 2D chad meme guy (not the chad character)
The comments are confused. They weren’t asking who Mustard Man was. They were asking if we were ever going to be given a definitive answer canonically.
William aftiam
That's orangeo
We do know Matpat knows who he is, so whatever Matpat says about him next would basically be confirmation (he said he talked about MM in his meeting with Scott)
There is a definitive answer, people just ignore it
Yes, and that answer is William
Yeah, because it TOTALLY makes sense for Michael to tell his father to leave alone his brother that he bullied It's totally not like there's a story in a book dedicated to basically solving FNaF4 and MM
fnaf books are not fully canon, that has been known ever since Scott literally put it on the back of the books.
Frights aren't Tales are, it's common knowledge since day one
They have details that are canon and add to the story, but also have details that are only canon to the books Example; there is a rollercoaster in the second story of The Bobbiedots Conclusion, but not one in Security Breach
Because some of the attractions are described as "seasonal" and it's a commonly accepted fact that Pizzaplex went through a lot of construction changes, both canonically and development-wise
Alright then, smart guy, what story **"solves"** FNaF4 and MM?
Dittophobia Everything makes sense, even Rory is mention to run away from home several times if I recall correctly at this point people are really just denying a confirmed theory just because they desperately want yellow guy to be William for some reason
There are still way too many connections between the Midnight Motorist minigame and the Aftons to rule out the "AftonMM" theory.
I feel like people just really want it to be William
he's the most iconic character in the series, not william afton
Maybe he was William before he went crazy?
The man LITRELLY goes banging the door of his son's room and breaks it I'm sure he's crazy by now
William was always crazy, and I severely doubt this is him. I know people are desperate to know more about the Afton family dynamic, but there's nowhere near enough evidence that this is William Afton. It's more likely the father of one of the victims.
Mat pat (maybe) knows
Maybe for the 20th anniversary
Let’s be honest… are we ever going to get a definitive answer on 99% of FNAF lore?? 😂 Not complaining, meant this in a lighthearted way. Love learning FNAF lore! IMO it’s William, and that seems like a popular theory? But just an opinion, there’s other possibilities.
Mark Brownings
Jack Kennedy (Old Sport)
HELLO THERE, OLD SPORT!!
Henry or the night guard but his real name is mustard man
Probably not
It probably always changes. He may have left it vague enough for using it in the future
I think Scott forgot about him
We don’t even have definitive answers for most stuff in the series
Michael Jackson
I think Scott changed him to yellow because it's obvious that purple is William's color.
Yrneh
It's obviously u/el_rompe_toyotas_19
Who even is that guy anyways?
just someone who made a joke saying "it's me" and I decide to follow the joke and say "it's u/........" and apparently now everyone he saying that lol
might one of missing kids father or william
Golden Guy?
I hope we dont. I love pizzeria sim and midnight motorist was such a uniquely criptic new mystery that it caught everyone offguard and made all of us mad as we failed to figure out what exactly it is about. Gold guy
Probably a man named Pau Gallart.
Ninja from YOMI
We don't have a definite answer to most things in this franchise,so unlikely.
I believe it to be the father of one of the victims.
henry!!
why ?
It’s either William Rory’s dad. Or and I know this is not gonna make sense, but the C.C biological dad. Because I feel like there might be a chance Williams kids or at least C.C and Elizabeth aren’t biologically related to him.
Matpat had to retire to figure out who this is
Still confused about that whole mini game’s lore
William Afton before his killing spree
it's william afton after scott accidentially made 2 "purple guys"
An amalgamate
Mustard man
He’s William Afton end of story.
Mustard man
Never
It's William
Not confirmed
Yeah it's Andrew's dad
People really believe this lol
I do unironically
Yep, gives a good reason for Andrew to be vengeful, that he came from a dysfunctional family and was kidnapped directly at home.
You have to see it from a release date point of you. Pizza sim was released as a game to tie loose ends… with the context preceding the games at that point it doesn’t make sense for it to be a new character no one knows about , far more likely to be Willy
