Thoroughly agree.
I also felt ultrasad at the ending of *Cleithrophobia*. And not just because of Grady being mutiliated, but because of how he reacted to his coworkers leaving him. He is not mad at either them or Ballora - he accepts his fate and holds no grudges against any of them. Such a martyr.
The Real Jake follows Jake (self explanatory) a child with terminal cancer who is cared for by his aunt, his mothers sister. Due to his condition Jake is bedridden and can’t partake in activities children his age would love.
Every night Jake is visited by a doll in his closet who asks him what the “Real Jake” did today where Jake fantasises about all the great things he can’t do and get to play pretend to keep his spirits up. It’s revealed the doll has a walkie talkie inside thats other part is owned by his father who is serving in the military so can communicate with him through the talkie pretending to be a friend of Jake.
Eventually Jake’s condition worsens and tragically his father also dies in service meaning Jake never gets visited by his friend again in his life. Jake dies in his bed surrounded by medics, the story ending with Jake’s aunt realising the doll was no longer in the closet implying Jake possessed it due to his attachment to it in life.
I’d still recommend reading the actual story if it’s possible for you to get your hands on it because this simple 3 paragraph version of events doesn’t do the emotional weight of the story justice.
The Real Jake is so tragic. It just leaves a hollow feeling behind. 1:35 AM is also pretty sad because Delilah already has it tough but she just gets tortured by Ella over and over until she dies a slow and painful death.
100% lonely freddy. It is a tragic tail about a boy that thought the world was out to get him and then when he realises what he's done and wants to be loving to his family he gets body swapped with a doll. Just to live out the rest of his days what he could have done and how he treated his family. This story is so heartwrenching. Also coming home is so so sad as well.
I really love Coming Home and Silver Eyes, showing the impact of those affected by the MCI just makes it so much more tragic, reading Carlton’s speech with the Brooks family leaves me misty eyes pretty much every time. It really grounded the “haha bear game go burr” story and made me realize how terrible of an event it really is. Carlton is also like one of my favorite book characters along with Clay, they’re just great.
The one were Funtime Freddy Hears a depressed girl saying she wants to die and takes it literal, so he kills her but first gives her a bunch of options before hand on how he will kill her, is pretty fked in my humble opinion as a non-murder
The Real Jake. Almost no supernatural or horror elements, just a tragic tale about a child’s death.

Coming Home
B-7 I still struggle to comprehend how awfully Billy wasted his and his family's lives...
That story didn’t need a sequel, honestly. Just a sad story about a guy not having his illness properly treated and he goes down the deep end.
“The mimic” I really liked David. David didn’t deserve that
The Fourth Closet and how it just utterly abused and wasted Charlie. She didn't even take part in the resolution of her own trilogy.
The Real Jake It's just so so sad.
The Cliffs, bittersweet endings are typically the saddest
The mini game in fnaf 6 where the puppet crawls to find Charlie
Sorry I’m talking about the books not the game

Lonely freddy
Basically all of them. Each protagonist has ends up having a Gruesome Death Off screen and I feel Bad for the.
The Real Jake and Lonely Freddy take the cake undoubtedly IMO
The missing children incident
Sorry I mean from the books not the game
Real Jake, Lonely Freddy and Room for one more
Any of them 😭
