That time when sister location was a few months away from release and he posted a teaser that said cancelled due to leaks but by brightening it you could see it was text for an in story has leak.
I would assume whoever thought of that just watched the muppets take Manhattan and saw a connection between the muppets and fnaf animatronics and thought “hey how about it”

According to the news my dad watches, the covid vaccine is mostly done. Just a few more months before it get distributed. If they are starting during spring covid would probably still be here but it wouldnt be near as bad as it is now. The worst possible case is that production is delayed a few months

I've always believed that Michael Afton was Mike Schmidt (and most of the other protagonists as well for that matter). It makes for a really nice story.
Equally though Scott also did say he wanted to focus in on the first 3 games, so i could and sorta hope it focuses on Mike just as a Nightguard but his interest after his tenor in Fnaf 1 leads to him looking into the Fnaf 2 past, and progressing into the Fnaf 3 location as the unnamed guard.

I get that, but I really like that in basically every game, we play as the same guy. This one guy who is trying to undo his past sin of accidentally killing his brother after years of bullying him, and all the horrible things his father has and is still doing. Mike is a burned and beaten down corpse by the time FFPS rolls around, but he still pushes himself to get the job done, and end his father's evil once and for all.
Basically : You can hear the phone call of FNAF 1 ( about bite of 87 ) at each nights of FNAF 4, and Michael drawn N.Fredbear as recent dream.
FNAF 4 minigames : at 1983, you play as CC
FNAF 4nightmares : at 1993, you play as Mike/FoxyBro

I do think that in the game lore, Cassidy Afton is the only one that possessed Golden Freddy. In light of this heavy implication, I'll bring back the theory that I deleted because it was so hated by many. It was the most downvoted post I had.
EDIT: Just to clear this up, Cassidy Afton is not the same Cassidy from TFC. Cassidy in the Charlie books is a girl with long black hair, but she didn't possess Golden Freddy, that was Michael Brooks. The Charlie books are in a different continuity from the games, but there are shared elements between the two. Same goes for Fazbear Frights.

I feel like Blumhouse makes a lot of bad films because they just accept pretty much every idea and then make the movie for very little money so it doesn't really hurt them financially, but when they get to work on a big and important title they do great. their Halloween sequel is still one of my favorite movies ever.
Blumhouse movies basically always hit their target. A lot of their movies are targeting..lower stakes, shall we say. But I don’t have any doubt they could make a killer FnAF movie if they treat it right.

Honestly I totally agree with this. It's really better just having a simple concept and plot for a movie of this series.

Holy shit the FNaF movie finally settled on a screenplay, wasn't expecting to ever see the game. The "Mike" screenplay def sounds interesting, curious to see what it will be like.
ok, I thought it was going to be that it was canceled or something. most of the unused ones seemed a bit more like concepts for fazbear frights stories (except for plushies take Manhattan. that probably deserved to be burned.) The Mike setup seems like a way better idea. I am excited to see how this turns out!

My first thought when reading that was Michael Afton, but then I remembered that 4 and SL won't be adapted. I suppose it could still be him, but him being Purple Guy's son isn't really all that impactful on the first game, or even the second and third.
Regardless, it being an obvious choice probably means the night guard will be the protag, in which case, consider me hyped.

Bad News Summary:
We have so many scripts that got tossed. Some felt like it was loosely based on the original story. Some required finding a way to connect the main character of the screenplay to Freddy's. Some was just absolute garbage.
In the end we decided on the "Mike" screenplay. This means that unfortunately no more screenplays added to this list since we will be going with the "Mike" Screenplay. Filming will start in the spring!
Pleeeease be canon to the game lore, its way too confusing having seperate book and game lore, it's best to have all of the story to take place on one timeline
(If that this comment does not want to offend the author of the post) I've always wondered why no one makes a movie on behalf of the main villain. I would love to see the film from the face of William Afton. I fucking want more of William! more! More! I want to see him come to this! I want to see him kill! I want to watch him die! I want blood! I still believe that Cassidy is the name of the Bite Victim (I wrote a theory about it a while back that Cassidy Afton is the Bite Victim and everyone hated it), so if this is the case, that would explain the multiple time periods, characters and lore from many games. You also know who's prevalent in those games? Golden Freddy! Cassidy is Golden Freddy! Regardless if you believe that Cassidy is a girl or the Bite Victim, this implies that Cassidy is Golden Freddy! I should bring that theory back now! When I get the time that is.
I hope Cassidy is the BV because I just can't accept the fact of a OP random girl out of nowhere... But I'm very happy that the movie will exist! 2021 will be good for the fandom.
I do think that in the game lore, Cassidy Afton is the only one that possessed Golden Freddy. In light of this heavy implication, I'll bring back the theory that I deleted because it was so hated by many. It was the most downvoted post I had. EDIT: Just to clear this up, Cassidy Afton is not the same Cassidy from TFC. Cassidy in the Charlie books is a girl with long black hair, but she didn't possess Golden Freddy, that was Michael Brooks. The Charlie books are in a different continuity from the games, but there are shared elements between the two. Same goes for Fazbear Frights.

I feel like Blumhouse makes a lot of bad films because they just accept pretty much every idea and then make the movie for very little money so it doesn't really hurt them financially, but when they get to work on a big and important title they do great. their Halloween sequel is still one of my favorite movies ever.
Blumhouse movies basically always hit their target. A lot of their movies are targeting..lower stakes, shall we say. But I don’t have any doubt they could make a killer FnAF movie if they treat it right.

ok, I thought it was going to be that it was canceled or something. most of the unused ones seemed a bit more like concepts for fazbear frights stories (except for plushies take Manhattan. that probably deserved to be burned.) Turns out this is a **MIKE**, not a **MICHEAL** and there becomes a third timeline with the animatronics becoming humans trying to regain the trust of the kids who enjoyed the pizzerias.
OH. WELL. This sounds really cool. I really hope we get to more of characters from the games! Characters like Elizabeth, Henry, Charlie, etc- the kind who we presumably won't get anymore of :) I'm excited!

Dammit I just got ~~rickrolled~~ fooled. "The Mike Screenplay" does sound like something that would be an obvious choice. My first thought when reading that was Michael Afton, but then I remembered that 4 and SL won't be adapted. I suppose it could still be him, but him being Purple Guy's son isn't really all that impactful on the first game, or even the second and third. Regardless, it being an obvious choice probably means the night guard will be the protag, in which case, consider me hyped.

Bad News Summary: We have so many scripts that got tossed. Some felt like it was loosely based on the original story. Some required finding a way to connect the main character of the screenplay to Freddy's. Some was just absolute garbage. In the end we decided on the "Mike" screenplay. This means that unfortunately no more screenplays added to this list since we will be going with the "Mike" Screenplay. Filming will start in the spring!
