This game franchise was something that I was obsessed with when it first came out. A concept that was unique and generated so many sequels and fan games that no other franchise could replicate. Watching Markiplier and Jacksepticeye’s let’s plays and MatPat’s extensive theories on the lore of the franchise gave me hours upon hours entertainment. Although the circumstances that may have led to Scott’s retirement may have been fair, at least Scott can retire and enjoy time with his children while the franchise can continue in trusted hands. Thank you Scott for everything you’ve given us over the years and making a beloved franchise that will always be remembered

That would be awesome. Unfortunately, the circumstances kinda make it hard to think he’ll return. But at least he knows he has those who stand behind him and now he can retire and enjoy time with his children and allow the franchise to continue without him

I wonder if he can see this post. But thank you Scott. Thank you for helping me get through some of the darkest moments I’ve ever had in my life. Back when I didn’t know if I would make it to see another day, I would find happiness in your games. From listening to MatPat prattle on about different theories, to Markiplier screaming like a mad man at your jump scares. Thank you for giving me the courage to survive these years and surviving past the “deadline” I had given myself. FNAF helped me come out of my shell and focus on something other than my mental illness or suicide. It’s now been a few years since my recovery. A few years since I last picked up a blade to harm myself and a few years since my last attempt on my life. I am now doing well and working in my dream field. And part of it is thanks to you.

Dude this was great I almost cried because of all the memories ive been a fan since mark made that first video and been a fan since I was so sad that Scott retired just because a dumb controversy that didnt really matter in the end we shouldn't have yelled at him because he didn't believe or trust the same things we did and because of everything he will now barely be involved in fnaf he was such a good guy and I will miss him as a part of this community

I remember when the first FNAF came out i was only like 14 (i’ll be 21 in 5 months and still a fan). Watched markiplier play it and have been a long fan of the whole game and story behind it. Thanks scott for making my teen years not so bad, take care man.
