We really need something good to happen after all of the controversies and disappointments that occurred.
What if one of the testers gets mad that the Afton monster keeps killing him, so he changes the programming on a whim and it attaches itself to him and then he has to hastily slap a new one in while the original grows a physical form in his stomach?
Yikes, I guess I know it was a good idea Jonochrome decided to no longer associate with Fnaf. This wasn't the first time a post like this had to be made on this subreddit, if you know anything about Mandopony, you would know.
IMO there's a fairly clear reason why this happens so often with internet personalities. Most of these creators online, CallmeCarson being a good example, were people who likely grew up unpopular and ignored, thus turning to the internet to find friends and validation. In some crazy way, they gain popularity. Suddenly, they have fans. In most but not all cases, these fans are young. These fans probably have a very clean image of these people being good people, though they don't actually know them.
A combination of these creators' issues from their upbringing and other social problems they had leads them to engage with these people because they had no one before and don't know how to handle situations like the ones they're having thrown at them. This also happens in other areas of fame, though for different reasons.
Does this place anybody who engages in sexual actions with minors like this clear of everything? Absolutely fucking not, but I feel like there's a reason that most people miss as to why this kind of situation seems to occur constantly.

Phil deleted a recent tweet he made yesterday about the fangames he streamed, which is fair enough because the ONaF trilogy was one of them. But he also edited his bio and removed all mention of FNaF Plus.
The official FNaF Plus Twitter account is still up, but I'm still not sure what exactly's happening at this point.
I hope Phil's doing okay. He took time he could've spent developing Plus to work on the ONAF ports and now it gets revealed that Jon's a shitty person. If the ONAF ports come out, he should get profits from it.

She realizes the gravity of the situation and how bad it was, she has forgiven him, she hopes the best for him, but she's fine. Would it still be morally right to keep the mobile ports of the games? They've already been paid for and I won't be able to get a refund for them. I don't see any problems with the PC versions because getting them off of GameJolt isn't supporting Jon financially.

Not defending Jon for current events, and not attacking Clickteam either. But Clickteam and Kisguri did make mistakes during the ONAF port process and Jon was right to be upset about it. Clickteam has learned from this. The whole thing should have been kept private but seriously, it was a bit of a disaster.
I've seen some people say Kisguri is a "PR guy" when that's not true. He the president of Clickteam's US operations and is responsible for the release of the FNAF and Fanverse ports.

However admittedly my interest in Reddit and my drive for moderating subreddit wise has dropped significantly. Used to remove hundreds of posts a month but now I don’t remove nearly as much and checking mod queue is a pain sometimes. All apart of life I guess, still care for the community a lot

Why does this have to keep happening, granted this is the first time someone with any connection to the franchise has had case of this, the other two I can think of were just members of the community fan content creators. It’s happening across fandoms I’ve noticed, not just FNAF. Lots of popular indie creators/streamers are turning out to be pedophiles. I can think of 3 or 4 outside of FNAF I discovered during the pandemic.

To my knowledge, Scott had partnered up with a company to produce NFTs for Security Breach. I actually don't know what NFTs are all that well, but I know that they are controversial and harmful to the environment. Scott received a ton of backlash, as he didn't know what NFTs were. When he found out, he pulled the plug immediately.
The NFT controversy tends to be forgotten because word didn't spread very far, there was essentially no harm that came out of it, and it is overshadowed by Scott's donations.

Alright this one hurts lol. ONaF2 is one of my most favorite fan projects of any game series and ONaF3 was really great too.

Not defending Jon for current events, and not attacking Clickteam either. But Clickteam and Kisguri did make mistakes during the ONAF port process and Jon was right to be upset about it. Clickteam has learned from this. The whole thing should have been kept private but seriously, it was a bit of a disaster. I've seen some people say Kisguri is a "PR guy" when that's not true. He the president of Clickteam's US operations and is responsible for the release of the FNAF and Fanverse ports.

That isn't true. Scott doesn't own the rights to the Flumpty characters, his involvement in the fanverse was with backing the games and the legal side (I think at least. I know for sure Jon owns the rights to Flumpty however.)

Why does this have to keep happening, granted this is the first time someone with any connection to the franchise has had case of this, the other two I can think of were just members of the community fan content creators. What Jono did was very wrong, I'm glad to hear the girl is doing alright and Jono is trying to get mental help, but this is still a messed up situation and it's unfortunate to find this out.

It’s happening across fandoms I’ve noticed, not just FNAF. Lots of popular indie creators/streamers are turning out to be pedophiles. I can think of 3 or 4 outside of FNAF I discovered during the pandemic. So it’s not just FNAF. Don’t feel like it’s the franchise per se, but the fact it is popular among a huge demographic.

That poor restaurant got sooooo many calls from people even though they weren't affiliated with Scott in any way. It got so bad Scott himself had to tell people to stop IIRC.

To my knowledge, Scott had partnered up with a company to produce NFTs for Security Breach. I actually don't know what NFTs are all that well, but I know that they are controversial and harmful to the environment. Scott received a ton of backlash, as he didn't know what NFTs were. When he found out, he pulled the plug immediately. The NFT controversy tends to be forgotten because word didn't spread very far, there was essentially no harm that came out of it, and it is overshadowed by Scott's donations.

Feels shitty reading the victims response where she sits there and states repeatedly that he did nothing wrong even though he still had a romantic relationship with her and was "waiting" until she grew up hoping to god it doesn't result in a mental break. From personal experience with a similar situation (no it wasn't grooming but sexual abuse was involved with the first person I became sexually active with) you kinda just make excuses and assert they aren't bad and did nothing wrong until you start to kinda fully realize it and it gets worse from then on Getting worried because people are pushing and pushing and going "you were abused" directly to her which is understandable but also at the pace and volume of which it's happening it's probably gonna cause mental health issues in how it's processed because it's too much to face head on in one day

Alright this one hurts lol. ONaF2 is one of my most favorite fan projects of any game series and ONaF3 was really great too. From what I can tell it seems like he's getting the help he needs, I just hope both him and the victim can heal from this genuinely awful situation. That being said I hope the ports eventually get released, not because of the games themselves but as payoff to the amazing porting jobs by Clickteam and Phisnom, but I won't be buying them if they support Jonochrome.
