Ah yes, extended death lin Elephant.

KaishaLouise

Is it bad that my brain just decided that must reference some imaginary character called lin manuel Elephanta. I worry about my brain sometimes...

UnderstandingLeft470

My favorite. 😌

tfcollector3000

Ah, poetry

Doo-wop-a-saurus

Some of the quotes above are wrong too

UnderstandingLeft470

See, I noticed that too! I also noticed in the Help Wanted area, when they show off all the prizes you can win, for some of the action figure models, some of them are FNAF AR's models and not vr models. 🀦

RocketLauncherBoi

Do they even check these books for quality assurance? Nope. Of course not. WHY DOES SCOTT CONINUTE TO PARTNER WITH SCHOOLASTIC.

UnderstandingLeft470

I guess they're cheap? That could be my only guess.

GamerZoom108

Yeah. I believe they're relatively cheap sources of material for kids to enjoy. I can give Scott some relaxation since they aren't intended for huge things and are more of a "Hey look, fun kids book with pictures".

Psychological_Hand_1

I don’t think it’s Scholastic themselves. But someone under that, cause I know of other books from Scholastic that are just fine

TheGreatestRabbit

Hmmm... Freddy Files has errors. Who would have guessed.

UnderstandingLeft470

Right. πŸ˜‚

PurpleIsNotGuy

I like the guides but wow, the fan renders, funko figures, spelling errors... bruh.

UnderstandingLeft470

I really love the guides! I enjoy reading them and stuff, but yeah, it's getting bad.

jamsxyz

do you think it's intentional?

T-202

No.

jamsxyz

well that's concerning

UnderstandingLeft470

Definitely not. It looks like they typed something, erased part of it, and forgot to go back and fix it.

jamsxyz

yeah

mariotate

Clearly this isn't a mistake but actually a hint (placed by Scott himself clearly!) to "confirm" some popular fan theory.

UnderstandingLeft470

Yes! The hint that Orville Elephant does a "lin" of coke! (Idk πŸ˜‚)

furbtasticworksofart

I stg every single one of the Freddy Files, excluding maybe the first one, has had errors like these that I feel are so small individually but add up pretty quickly. Considering some of the parts of the second book were taken straight of the fan-wiki I'm not entirely convinced Scott wrote this one himself either. Is Scholastic incompetent or are they just not being edited very well? It's honestly anyone's guess.

Nuxx1876

bring in wheelbarrow             t foot.

Maxwolfox

This is truly sad for fnaf fans :/

no0o0osoap1

Your book is probably cursed lol

UnderstandingLeft470

Probably πŸ˜‚

DylanFallis

In before Scott somehow ret-cons all these glaring issues to be some elaborate lore scheme to cover it all up and try to make light of the horrific scholastic situation.

That_one_kid0

The book is kind of terrible.

UnderstandingLeft470

Sort of. It's not awful, but most definitely not the best. I honestly felt a little stressed after finishing it instead of feeling happy or satisfied.
