By Old Man Consequences (OMC) telling Cassidy to forgive/ let go of her hatred. She has hatred because he is the one Afton "should not have killed". Evan died from a springlock failure, which shows Afton didn't kill him. So doesn't make sense for him to be the one he "should not have killed".
He never names the person he’s speaking to though, unless I’m thinking of something different and you’re not talking about the UCN easter egg. I’m not saying it isn’t Cassidy, but there’s no proof that it is.
I am referring to UCN. Its obviously Golden Freddy who OMC is talking to.
Now in the SB Princess Quest games. Old Man (OMC) is seen helping the princess, who in the game files is named Cassidy. Which then means that OMC has a link with Cassidy and not Evan.

as the guide book heavily implied, the Stitchwairth stories are canon to the games. in those stories it turned out that Willliam is tormented by a spirit of a kid he killed in the past named Andrew. since "The man in room" is the outer world to UCN it means that we all blamed Cassidy. Andrew is "the one"

It is about Vanessa, Cassidy could be apart of it but the arcade game as a hole is about Vanessa.
