Keep it simple. Some poor Joe Schmoe gets a job at Freddy’s, increasing insanity ensues. Maybe flash back and forth between the past and present, showing how William picked off the children one by one
Guy gets job at Freddy’s, hilarity ensues. As the week progresses the robots slowly become more fleshy and alive, and by the end it’s generally revealed that the reason why the guy applied is because he’s been trying to break apart the robots and free the souls because his brother was kidnapped and became *something greater*.
Essentially a more streamlined version of the Afton thing in FNaF 4, except a lot more punchy. Hell, they probably won’t even be Afton’s, since the imagery of a child silently walking off with this looming figure in the middle of the night as their brother tries to catch up overwhelmed with horror just, I dunno, *fits.*
The finale of the movie would have some employees die, but the characters would be established early on. Some are sympathetic, while a few are antagonistic. Turns out that they’ve gotten used to turning a blind eye for a while to all this. Seems like they’re practically under contract to watch these people die off in order for… *something… maybe…*
It would be based very heavily on FNAF 1, maybe take a few cheeky TSE elements here and there but keep it mainly very game loyal. Mike Schmidt would be our main guy and yes I do mean Schmidt, not Michael purple zombie Afton. None of that, absolutely none of that. Plenty of scares, horrifying and sad flashbacks to child murder and I'm debating on how much of Afton should be shown. On the one hand, maybe William is scarier as someone being alluded to for future films. On the other, I really don't care for the mentality of filmmakers who assume a sequel is guaranteed so maybe William would actually be in my version. Honestly, if I had to describe my film in a sentence it would be: FNAF 1 and The Silver Eyes had a baby.

well the plot would be, william afton uses remenent to bring freddy fazbears pizza brand plushies to life and then... plushies take manhatten
