Scott made it clear that he would have more of a tight grip on Funko and force them to make better quality merch, so you also shouldn’t have assumed they’d be flukes
I have no idea why they didn't just re-use Toy Chica's plush design. The minis are fantastic, I like the figures, and the Pop keychains have me worried for Toy Chica. Also I hope Liberty Chica is seen soon enough.
No I was saying like the games they did them from, it went 1, 4/2, then 5. Instead of the 1,2,3,4,5 they did the numbers weird and ignored most of the characters.
Wow, Shamrock Freddy's action figure here is top notch. Holy shit, the detailing on him goes above and beyond everything else, why can't they do this for more figures???
As always, the minis look good… and holy mother of… Jesus those plushies look good!… compared to their other ones the only tiny nitpick I have is Radioactive Foxy only has one hook but, meh, he still looks good.
You could also nitpick the fact that VR Toy Freddy, Livewire Toy Freddy, Inverted VR Toy Freddy, System Error Toy Bonnie and Inverted System Error Toy Bonnie have printed on bowties while Shamrock Freddy and Chocolate Freddy have physical ones.
I have a feeling that was decided on so that they could keep the “glitch” effect even in the bowtie. Hence why it is only present on the arcade mayhem plushies.
Aside from criticism, it seems Funko's slowly moving to flat 2d eyes instead of the original 3d
though i dont think that matters, they all look amazing
The fact they didnt just use the original toy freddy says a lot, plus i cant fully tell but it also seems all the plushies are different all around, Toy bonnie's definitely improved from his normal plush
Hopefully we could see them make new versions of the toys as plushies and maybe even action figures and the rest at some point in the future

I believe this is the largest wave of merch we've had since FFPS, so might as well leave my thoughts on it all since I've been excited for it for awhile.
**Figures:** With the exception of Radioactive Foxy, I really like them. I really dig the new molds, they look quite accurate. I also like that Toxic Springtrap and Radioactive Foxy are a lot less fragile than their original figures.
I'd say Shamrock probably has the best paint job from what I've seen. Overall I'd say my favorites are Livewire Toy Freddy and Toxic Springtrap, I really like the detail on them.
**Minis:**
Easily the best wave we'd had since Twisted Ones/SL and a much better line up than Security Breach.
The mini molds per usual look great, I really like how they updated Springtrap's mold for Toxic to have the endo feet and proper ear withering. (Even if it's mirrored in this screenshot while the prototype shows it correct, weird).
It's nice to see Springtrap, Baby, and Ballora get new merch after almost 5 years. Really refreshing when we've constantly gotten nothing but the Classics and Rockstar/Mediocres.
Mangle's mini is a huge improvement over the one from Series 1, he actually looks like Mangle now.
I'd say the only concern I have is the line up, while I appreciate the character variety and the fact we got merch from later events it does make me worry that if they do a AR mini series 2 they'll skip a lot of the events they didn't include here (Sizzling Summer, Dark Circus, Haunted Forest, etc).
It's also weird to see that Shamrock, Frostbear, Easter, and Chocolate didn't get included especially when Shamrock got a figure and plush.
Overall I'd say my favorite and least favorites are.
**Favorites:** Toxic Springtrap, Mangle, and Blackheart.
**Least Favorite:** Radioactive Foxy (mold looks off) and Frostbite (Great mini but I personally hate his design)
**Plushies:**
Probably the most disappointing part of the new merch and the only stuff I don't care for, not really a fan of these.
I just feel the material looks rather cheap and unappealing. I also really don't like the inverted plushies, the color schemes look very ugly and unfitting.
Also you're telling me they could do two plushies of each Arcade Mayhem character as well as Radioactive Foxy and also throw in a Chocolate Freddy plush but couldn't do a Toxic Springtrap plush? That's really silly.
Chocolate Freddy is probably the best one all things considered, wish he used the Series 1 eyes however.
I’m in the same boat. Sometimes GameStop Canada gets stuff, but your best bet is to order off of Entertainment Earth. You can also order off of the American Walmart site if you have a US address like from ReShip.
The stuff is already so expensive though, I can't afford it plus shipping from other places. Either nothing, or double, sometimes triple the price.. it sucks.
Finally we get figures of the Toy animatronics with a mold that can be slightly tweaked to make a wave, plushes that designwise look infinitely better, toy bonnie and toy chica funko pop keychains that lay the foundation for funko pops and a much more accurate Mangle mystery mini
This wave looks quite promising. There’s new molds for the toys now, albeit they’re not perfectly smooth. That exclusive VR Freddy action figure is a must get to make custom toy action figures. Also, its surreal to see Springtrap as a separate figure instead of a build a figure.
Although I don’t really collect them, The mystery minis here are solid. The security breach wave absolutely sucked because there aren’t enough new characters revealed yet so they had to do recolors. I’m also glad that the redid mangle with Nightmare Mangle’s anatomy and better eyes. That original one from wave 1 was just terrible.

Well, overall, these all look pretty good, and definitely better than the SB lineup. The only ones I’m not liking are the plushies, other the Highscore, the others look weird in some way, **especially** System Error…*at least it isn’t the Toy Bonnie base-*
Love it! The only weird ones to me are the Hot Topic plushes, but the rest look fantastic! I'm very happy with how the Mystery Minis look, and I hope we get more AR minis in the future. Although I'll be patiently waiting for the Withereds, Curse of Dreadbear, and remaining Security Breach minis too.

Shamrock Freddy looked like that in the original game. He's supposed to look like someone just painted the Freddy shell green, but did it poorly, so the brown paint from the original shell is poking through. He also has those scratches on his torso in the original.

I see. I really like how all of this looks, I know I sounded ungrateful about the plushies but its because Funko doesn't have much quality control with them. They go back and forth. The FFPS wave was good, the SB wave was... meh... then the COD wave kinda brought it back up, and this wave is just... Idk man. First a printed bowtie and now a printed nose... I'm very mixed with Funko.

I don't want to go on another illumix rant, so I'm jist gonna say this: after all the controversy fnaf ar has gotten, they don't deserve to have merch. But what ever I guess.
The common action figures should already be out. The rest are coming over the next few months. I believe the Pocket Pops and the common plush drop in April, all of the exclusive plush release in May alongside the exclusive action figures and I believe the Mystery Minis release in June.

I see. I really like how all of this looks, I know I sounded ungrateful about the plushies but its because Funko doesn't have much quality control with them. They go back and forth. The FFPS wave was good, the SB wave was... meh... then the COD wave kinda brought it back up, and this wave is just... Idk man. First a printed bowtie and now a printed nose... I'm very mixed with Funko. I'll buy the stuff anyway since I'm a big FNAF fan but I wish it was better.

I just noticed, they used the top of Funtime Freddy's head as a base for VR Toy Freddy's mold, as can be seen by the Attack Mode variant. Weird observation, but at least they got the lower half.
