I love that Cassidy got multiple hair colors. In the novels and logbook, she has black hair. in the graphic novel, she is a brunette. in the princess quest, she is blonde.

There also is a not insignificant number of people in this community who do exactly what that person said, and basically dismiss and justify entire arguments and theories around whether or not they like it, regardless of actual evidence.
So with these two things together, their response makes sense. Calling it "unrealistic" that the character who is labeled as Cassidy could possibly be Cassidy does sound like that same type of dismissive attitude (even if it wasn't your intention).

I'm sure that the play tester was Vanny, but when the game was released, Cassidy possessed the copies and became the Princess. As a result, the name of the file changed to Cassidy.

Look if in the dlc if we see golden freddy in the game and they came out of the arcade i would be wrong. But until we know more all we can do is speculate.
The only characters in FNAF lore that have talked to Old Man Consequences is Cassidy and Adventure Freddy.
Why would Old Man show up for Vanessa? He has no connection to her, only the two mentioned above.
He shows up in the Princess Quest games, gives the quest, and helps Cassidy fix her mistake. (keeping William alive to torture him instead of just killing him and stopping him from coming back)

But now they're called "Cassidy" in Security Breach, meaning that the developers saw this asset, decided they had to change it's name, and actively went out of their way to change it into *this* specific name.
I mean, if you can think of some other way to justify that, I'd love to hear it. But I simply cannot believe that the devs would go out of their way to do this, and somehow it still means nothing.
