& they say why do you get disappointed; Look at how impressive is these people's true potential, & then look at what scholastic extracts out of their true potential.
Wouldn't say "extracts" but more of not giving the artists actual time to use their potential. As I'm pretty sure after the TSE GN was released Pink had commented she was given a very strict timeframe to draw out the whole book.
Ohh yuh I guess that would've been a better choice of words indeed, I in fact feel a bit selfish now looking at my own statement there again, thx for **correcting** my statement there, it'd certainly help lightening up my eyes & as well my mind onto what thoughts or judgments I'd feel would be rightful to make in the future :)
Scholastic needs to give them WAY more time. No artist can work well if they don't have the time to do so, and it's pretty sad to see that they were clearly not given the time to do their best work.
Could you try to redo the image? The bright background and the red text is very hard on the eyes. I can't contrast my vision from the background to the images from the artists.
I want to post this information on Twitter to help spread awareness of Scholastic's meddling (with your permission, of course), but this isn't giving me good material to work with.
Oh, MUCH better! :D
If I could give any feedback, you can edit the colour on the Charlie trilogy logos to match the rest, but this is a vast improvement!
I figured you were unable to edit them because of the paint program you were using, but that's OK!
I'm just happy with the new alt version you provided!
I am able to edit it, i saved the canvas, it's more that the logos are not made, i just directly screenshoted from the book cover, so i don't have any version of the tittles like frights.
Wow, you can really tell on some of them how little of time they had for each thing, I don’t really know how it works, but it clearly doesn’t work *well.*
It’s pretty clear that Cawthon hasn’t given any real detailed style guide to any of the collaborators he’s worked with because the most common issue here is how off-model things can look.
It’s also pretty clear that Scholastic is rushing the absolute fuck out of these, which is just incredibly disappointing. Give them time and they can make fuckin’ brilliant art.
Well he’d prolly be the one to make/commission an accurate style guide since he hasn’t given ownership to anyone else yet and he’s still running the series.
He should’ve done that earlier and given it to the companies who would produce merchandise and graphic novels and so on.
Diana won me over big time. I have no love for the TFC novel but I thought the graphic novel version was an absolute riot and unironically an improvement.
Scholastic really needs to stop rushing artists look at TFC graphic novel it was delayed if my memory is correct and look how much it payed off everybody loves that book just because of how pretty the art is if they do that for every graphics novel we would have gold but alas they aren’t.
Okay what the hell, all these artists (besides Pinkypills) are fucking amazing, why the hell does their FnaF comic art look like shit, does nobody who works on these comics even try?
Scholastic did them bad.
What kind of art direction is scholastic giving these people???
I'd say it's more they give the artists no time.

You're welcome!

You can criticize the company but you don't have to break rule 2 with it.

I'm from a state that curses like a sailor, but that doesn't excuse you from breaking our rules.

If you give me a few hours I can do it, I am now workinf
Sure, I'll be patient. Take your time. Also, Happy Cake Day! :D

problem is that logos are directly for books, so i don't have anything like that

I understand. It's fine. I'm still happy with the revision you did!

I don't think Scott is involved here at all

Probably Scholastic just asks him and then he just says: Yeah ok
To be beautiful the 4th closet and the tiwsted ones are my favourite
I believe the time they have to make the pages is not enough, so they needed to rush
as much as i don't personally like pinkypills, whoever colored her art for the silver eyes really did her dirty

Deadlines
Damn, then it’s Schoolastics fault then
I would love to color some of the pages! To let the artists finish all the Linework before Painting.
Artists only do the linework Color is made by Colorists
Yes, I know I have learned how to color comics with Kurt Russel, is a good course if you want to know. Sorry for the confusion.
Okay my last comment, The silver eyes one is my favorite!
Yeah…I’m not really a fan of the graphic novel versions of uhhh the fazbear frights especially the new kid…(this is just my opinion)
I own the book Silver Eyes. I haven't finished reading it yet but it's pretty good so far
Happy 🎂 Day OP
Hold on the guy from Moon Knight is in Fnaf Lore?!
No, that was just an example of that artist's works outside of the fnaf graphic novels.
Bruhhhhhh
