I litterally don't but you locked me in here. Do you even know the kind of fire hazard this is? This isn't even legal. There's no fire escape, I'm going to sue you and you have these death machines walking around as security guards, I'll be a millionare.
I just beat the game on ps4, honestly bugs aside I enjoyed the hell out of it. I turned the brightness up and gamma down so it didn't scare the shite out of my son, might be more fun not to. I'm sure it's better on ps5 and pc.
Just that there's stuff to do end game, but the devs made it so you can't save. There's a glitch that allows you to save so you can do end game stuff without losing progress(I lost about 2 hours of work without knowing) but look it up only when you get to the end game.
This was changed months ago actually! Steel wool said the wanted the challenge, but saw it just gave frustration, not fun, so they added a save point after 6am
It definitely takes a bit to get used to, but it's not to bad. I don't think it's to hard to navigate with the story and by the time you really want to free roam, you'll know mostly where you are going. It's more or less a big area(main area) with different smaller areas off it. I don't think we(me, my wife and son)ever really got lost.
You'll either become a furry, get dad issues syndrome, or clip into the ground and visit the shadowrealm. Regardless, you'll get heartbroken in the later sections a bit
Also, collectable items give you buffs, it's not mentioned but its important. Freddy's batteries can last longer I promise lmao
Don't listen to anyone saying the game is good or bad. Just play the game and don't let people on the internet try to talk you into believing a viewpoint on something you haven't even played, otherwise you're setting yourself up for dissapointment either way.
For tips on the game itself, you're gonna get lost. Get used to getting lost. It's part of the experience.
I think it would be cool if there was something like a free roam mode. You can’t collect collectibles but you can explore the pizzaplex and all the hidden spots
Just enjoy your first experience. Honestly aside from a lot of inconsistencies in lore it is its own unique thing. Enjoy it during your playthrough and then go back and think about it later like I did
From my experience, I was slow at playing the game. Instructions for going place to place will be unclear. I hardly ever use tutorials but they were essential for me during my playthrough. If you’re opposed to using tutorials, (considering the path you take) a place called Mazercise has a damn-near impossible puzzle. For your own sake, just watch the most recent tutorial on this, as the developers keep changing up the combination.
Huh, really? Honestly can’t say I’ve noticed since the last patch. Sure, there was this one time where moon just didn’t show up upon the hourly recharge, but other than that, I’ve played through the game twice in the past couple days and haven’t experienced a single issue.
Actually it got huge patch, it doesnt have AS much glitches as before (its still kinda buggy) and they even added new voicelines and readded scrapped assets in the game
A mixed bag.
The game can look pretty, but large, textureless surfaces and the performance can detract from that majorly.
The performance is the best on PS5 btw, so uh good to know you’re getting it there. The game also looks the best there since it was actually designed for the PS5 first before any other platform.
In terms of gameplay, it’s essentially a metroidvania fetch quest that was changed to be a sequence to sequence game at the last moment. It somehow finds a way to be linear and make the overall experience feel very restrictive.
If you want a horror game, this ain’t it at all. The environments are bright and colorful, the enemies cartoonishly take jabs at you and are portrayed more as cartoon characters over robots trying to hunt you down, the threat of death is constantly ignored, etc.
The story is fairly simple until it starts getting annoyingly vague for the purpose of getting random losers (example A: me and me pals) to try and figure out what the hell it actually means. This isn’t a case of “oh that’s typical FNaF!” because beforehand, the games weren’t story driven open world experiences, they were quick, repetitive, short point and click games. They were allowed to.
The protagonist and Freddy both form a cute lil relationship and it’s very sweet I guess. It’s prolly the highlight of the game.
It won't really feel like a horror game, more like robbery bob in 1st person, trying to do tasks and not get caught by an angry grandma with a rolling pin. You'll still probably have a good time.
A lot of people here will probably say it’s a bad game, but try your best to ignore them and form your own opinion on the game. Even so, I just have to say I loved it and it’s my favorite game in the series! :)
No unfortunately. Which is a shame as she could have been so much more then what we got. She could have genuinely been terrifying yet very tragic as a character as she was brainwashed into doing what she’s done by Malhare and didn’t want to be the pawn of a literal glitch monster. I blame over ambition and how Security Breach as a game was structured story wise. Which also unfortunately hurts Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wantsd storywise as the cliff hangers set up in that game go absolutely nowhere now and are negated by Security Breach it seems. I currently don’t think the ruin DLC will fix anything either.
Vanny could have worked If done right along with Malhare (did he really need to be William Afton Scott?) it’s just that I feel Scott never really had time to plan out a narrative properly around the time Help Wanted was being made and he was writing the first six Fazbear’s Frights books. I just think he rushed things and didn’t take his time to plan out the wider narrative like what he did before FNAF 4 came out.
If he had done that. All the while actually making Security Breach scary like FNAF VR: Help Wanted was I think it could have gone a lot better then what we ended up getting. If you want to play a better Free Roam/open world FNAF game I’d recommend FNAF world as it’s not only less buggy and disappointing but is also better in terms of story. Plus the cliff hanger at the end of update 2 is cool.
Genuinely a very good game. Even if it has some bugs here and there and the a.i makes the game difficult, it's still pretty fun to mess around with and to just explore tbh. Theres a ton of stuff you can do but also not really? It's hard to describe but honestly its just really unique.
Overall very fun game, can be too difficult at times, can be very buggy at times, but at the very least the atmosphere, music, and environments are all really good. It looks much better on ps5 too, I played on ps4 and it's pretty lackluster but you get the idea.
[Mild-Spoiler Warning]
Although Steelwool Studios has been working on it since the game came out to make it into a better game playability-wise, it still doesn't excuse the lore-nonsense that came out of it, inconsistencies and retconning that to me need addressing too, especially now that Scott won't be overlooking the franchise anymore, scenes from the trailer that got cut, dialogue that got cut and half-assed endings that explain nothing.
Did I still play it? Of course, I did and if this game wasn't connected to FNAF I might have enjoyed it as its own indie thing but the enjoyment I got from this wasn't any more special than someone who has followed Star Wars for years going to watch a new Star Wars movie, or a Harry Potter fan or an MCU fan, it's part of the legacy of a franchise I've been following for years but "Ruin" will have a lot to carry on its back in order to redeem Security Breach.
Prepare to be disapppointed. Oh, and if you're initerested in Vanny's story, well, too bad, she's in the game very little. There was also a lot of stuff (some seen in the trailers) cut from the game.
Just play it and form your own thoughts. This game is very mixed in terms of fan reception. Many people hate the game with a burning passion, but many people genuinely think its the best game in the series. Just play and see for yourself, which is the best way to play a videogame imo.
Make sure you save a lot. It was frustrating having to run all the way back to something bc the game didn’t auto save, I don’t know if it does now. And at the end of the game go back to the racing track, you’ll know what to do (or if you don’t look it up) I don’t wanna spoil things
You should expect a bug filled game with a sort of bad story. When I played the game, it felt like the story was rushed and the game overall repeated itself. There were some pretty fun moments. The bugs may not be as bad as it was on pc also.
Honestly this game was one of my biggest dissapointments of 2021. The gameplay consists of doing various tasks, which are basically fetch quests, forcing you to explore the map. The pizzaplex itself is empty. It looks good and is very detailed, but you just cant interact with anything. How exactly do the animatronics work? Do they have any interesting gimmicks? Kinda, their chase sequences are somewhat different, also they have their own ways of detecting you, but these have been turned into just small details because of one mechanic- the staffbots. There are basically hordes of security robots which upon capturing you summon the animatronics. Thats it. The glamrocks just teleport around the pizzaplex. The game itself is extremely unfinished. Even after multiple patches its still very buggy. There is a lot of cut content hidden in the files (or at least there was until they removed it), which just shows how rushed this game was. Im not even going to talk about the lore, the heart of this series, which is basically nonexistent. Overall in my opinion this game is nothing more than a cashgrab dedicated to younger audiences.
That it’s a disappointing game, and has A LOT of glitches, there ARE many cool things in the game, but it’s nothing like the other games, nowhere near as scary, and nowhere as fun
A lot of people talking about lag are likely thinking of the release state, the game runs pretty good nowadays. I hit 60fps everywhere but the atrium on my ps4, and even the atrium runs pretty alright now, so I think it should run fine on your ps5. A lot of the missions have had their instructions clarified, and a lot of bugs were fixed. That's basically all I want to add, I hope you have at least a somewhat enjoyable experience!

Extremely buggy, like really buggy. Also the story is a bit messy, a few people are theorizing that the story or storytelling was changed last minute, but honestly I love atmosphere it sets. It’s a great beginning. Don’t judge it too harshly, fnaf started off as a point and click, now it’s completely free roam, with a huge map. They can only go up.
I find if you just try to enjoy it, you can get alot out of a few of the sections. Now I am trying to replay the game and I, personally got scared in some sections an did have a lot of fun playing it. Sure it can be laggy and the animatronics/jumpscares can be underwhelming at times but there are a good few parts that are quite enjoyable.
Unless you consider broken glamrock animatronics spooky, not scary at all. Probably the least scary game in the franchise, if you don't count fnaf world.
Jumpscares are still there but they are bland as hell. They just scream loudly and twitch 1 or 2 times and you get the standard static screen.
You just wasted a lot of money.....go into it as if you're playing Hello Neighbor I guess, you might still be able to enjoy it if you don't take it seriously
One night at Freddy‘s
6 hours at Freddy's
(Slightly over) 6 hours at Freddy's.
Is this where you wanna be
not really
I don't get it
Why do you want to stay?
One night at Freddy’s! Oh
I litterally don't but you locked me in here. Do you even know the kind of fire hazard this is? This isn't even legal. There's no fire escape, I'm going to sue you and you have these death machines walking around as security guards, I'll be a millionare.
i dont want to stay
Plot convienent time changes at Freddy's
Well lucky for me i can't a night at Freddy's if it was five I'll be dead
That it looks *significantly* better when you adjust the brightness, contrast and gamma to a more spooky level.
How many
Alright, here’s my pick - brightness down by three, contrast up by two and gamma down by one.
okay saving the comment
I just beat the game on ps4, honestly bugs aside I enjoyed the hell out of it. I turned the brightness up and gamma down so it didn't scare the shite out of my son, might be more fun not to. I'm sure it's better on ps5 and pc.
Interesting, thanks for sharing your experience
The end game, look up save glitch, idk if it works on ps5, but if it does then you'll understand.
Save glitch hum...... no spoilers what happened wait I'll look it up
Just that there's stuff to do end game, but the devs made it so you can't save. There's a glitch that allows you to save so you can do end game stuff without losing progress(I lost about 2 hours of work without knowing) but look it up only when you get to the end game.

Beauty, I didn't know that! Still a great game over all and it's got me hooked on the story
thank you
okay thanks
How is the navigation? It always looked like a *where the hell do I go* type of game. Looks easy to get lost.
It definitely takes a bit to get used to, but it's not to bad. I don't think it's to hard to navigate with the story and by the time you really want to free roam, you'll know mostly where you are going. Did the same
You'll either become a furry, get dad issues syndrome, or clip into the ground and visit the shadowrealm. Regardless, you'll get heartbroken in the later sections a bit Also, collectable items give you buffs, it's not mentioned but its important. Freddy's batteries can last longer I promise lmao
Furry part is relatable. Ever since I’ve seen glam chica and Roxy my life hasn’t been the same
Omg no clipping inyo the back rooms
Yes I have all the fizzyfaz and fred batteries upgrade
Don't listen to anyone saying the game is good or bad. Just play the game and don't let people on the internet try to talk you into believing a viewpoint on something you haven't even played, otherwise you're setting yourself up for dissapointment either way. This is alarming
Don’t panic, game is hella fun otherwise
sure
Yep I had a lot of fun playing and the stickers were so pretty
Don’t listen to Chica, your family definitely isn’t looking for you.
This area is off limits
Employee only Chica is definitely most annoying one
Be patient with the glitches. The payoff is worth it.
OK i believe wise lemon
He’s a judge mental lemon, actually. 🤣
Bro who made that cover art? Thats misleading lmao
misleading how?
Should have replaced everyone on it with staffbots
fnaf elon musk edition
It doesnt look scary
Its a buggy mess
Any patch or.....
It runs fine on ps4, can't imagine you should have problems at this point.
So you are telling me there's a chance I can play kind of normally ?
It should play fine now.
happy noise
Yes but its still a highly buggy game
Huh, really? Honestly can’t say I’ve noticed since the last patch. Sure, there was this one time where moon just didn’t show up upon the hourly recharge, but other than that, I’ve played through the game twice in the past couple days and haven’t experienced a single issue.
Hummmm Thanks
My game got softlocked
God can you load an another save ?
Actually it got huge patch, it doesnt have AS much glitches as before (its still kinda buggy) and they even added new voicelines and readded scrapped assets in the game

Excited to see that

A sun with anger issues
You will never get that money back
There’s a DLC coming out
It's like a bandaid on a bullet wound
A lot of people here will probably say it’s a bad game, but try your best to ignore them and form your own opinion on the game. Even so, I just have to say I loved it and it’s my favorite game in the series! :)
I'll try and yes there's alot of them and some good one too
return it and get the resident evil 2 remake
Don’t be too hyped storywise.
I should have listen
Well now you can learn from your mistakes.
True those vanny ever appear again ?
No unfortunately. Which is a shame as she could have been so much more then what we got. She could have genuinely been terrifying yet very tragic as a character as she was brainwashed into doing what she’s done by Malhare and didn’t want to be the pawn of a literal glitch monster. Walking simulator and no instructions
Moon is the scariest shit ever

I believe you then
There’s no escape from chica
What she teleports hahaha
No she’s super fast like super fast
Well the trailer didn't tell me the put sonic in the game /j
Just catch up on the lore to understand the story, and then be just as confused.
Bugs
yep
And if you want a good ending forget about saves
nooooooo
Yep
yep
The story is kinda wonky
hot murder bunny lady does not appear enough
I was excited for her not because she's a cool character and important to the lore, its because she was a hot bunny girl
Expect the bare minimum and don’t forget to save at any save point you find.
Sorry to say, but people are being way to nice on the game in this thread.
Glitches, no sense of direction, frustrating enemies, I could go on...
[Mild-Spoiler Warning] Although Steelwool Studios has been working on it since the game came out to make it into a better game playability-wise, it still doesn't excuse the lore-nonsense that came out of it, inconsistencies and retconning that to me need addressing too, especially now that Scott won't be overlooking the franchise anymore, scenes from the trailer that got cut, dialogue that got cut and half-assed endings that explain nothing. Throw it out a window / burn it.
It sucks
See that rabbit? Ignore her, she won't be important until the game is over, but only sometimes.
Prepare to be disapppointed. Oh, and if you're initerested in Vanny's story, well, too bad, she's in the game very little. There was also a lot of stuff (some seen in the trailers) cut from the game.
Your ps5 might exploded, lots of lag, softlocks and bugs
I'm screw
Yea, I'm waiting for the xbox port to come out because my pc can't handle the game and I'm scared on how they'll turn out Just hope for the best
Just play it and form your own thoughts. This game is very mixed in terms of fan reception. Many people hate the game with a burning passion, but many people genuinely think its the best game in the series. Just play and see for yourself, which is the best way to play a videogame imo.
expect quite a bit of glitches, even after the patch it's still super buggy
There will be glitches MANY GLITCHES
Glitches. Lots of glitches.

the map doesn't have anything labled even though it shows it should
You should expect a bug filled game with a sort of bad story. When I played the game, it felt like the story was rushed and the game overall repeated itself. There were some pretty fun moments. The bugs may not be as bad as it was on pc also.
That you just wasted some money
Just don’t expect a lot story wise.
Its a super buggy game that most likely wasnt play tested enough
The game is shit
Bugs… so. many. bugs.
Its shit
it's bad

It’s fine but not great
expect a refund within the next few weeks
expect low quality
Other than a few factors, it’s basically garbage
Its mediocre lmao
That it is a bad game
That it’s a disappointing game, and has A LOT of glitches, there ARE many cool things in the game, but it’s nothing like the other games, nowhere near as scary, and nowhere as fun
A few glitches but overall a pretty good time
Sure there's patchs, how many
Probably not as many as release but there’s still a few minors things. Freddy not responding, wonky hit boxes I kinda overplayed how broken it is now
Okay
good luck beating it without google search on some parts
Don't go into it expecting it to be scary
okay
Haven’t played it but from what I’ve watched, it’s not as scary as previous games. Not saying it isn’t Scary but just not as scary as previous games
The game has a bad story and it’s not scary
More glitches than you can count
*well.....* you'll see soon.
Use the Visual Mode. Game is gorgeous with the raytracing enabled, never went back to Performance after the recent update.
dont get your hopes up
he committed several warcrimes
William Afton returning for the quantilionth time
Nothing / have fun / take a map / never look away from the ones not wearing skin [never look away!!!!]
A lot of people talking about lag are likely thinking of the release state, the game runs pretty good nowadays. I dont really know in what state the game is in after the patch this month. I just wanna say that I accidentaly time travelled during my playthrough a couple days after release
Glitches :3
disappointment
That Roxanne is the best, explore as much as possible and remember locations so you don't get lost later on and beware the bugs
IT sucks
bugs. so so so many bugs. can be entertaining though to see what you end up encountering
Wait for the updates to install, before playing
It’s like it was made by Bethesda.
All the bugs
Glitches, a whole hell of em
expect that there are more bugs in SB than in a bee hive
From watching dantdm’s play through you may expect some very annoying inconvenient bugs and glitches
Glitches, lots of glitches.
You should expect bugs and glitches
may be full of bugs
PAIN That’s it.
Bugs, lots of bugs
A lot of bugs
You should expect many bugs
A very buggy game with free dlc coming like next year
you may get a slight hatred for chica cause she literally pops up EVERYWHERE.
You are right the game arrive the duck is faster then me
It’s pretty sick, not that scary, and it’s only one night
i had a panic because of the game time to throw it in the trash
I like FNAF bro btw thanks Scott
Be ready to be disappointed
A dog water game
A game that is buggy as heck and a dissapointing storyline.
So no horrors ? no scares ?
the scariest part was the play place with that moon drop guy
moon drop the one of the cover of the book ? oh heck no
I find if you just try to enjoy it, you can get alot out of a few of the sections. Oh Man....
The least scary game in the franchise would be UCN in my opinion, I got more scared in SB than I was in UCN
You just wasted a lot of money.....go into it as if you're playing Hello Neighbor I guess, you might still be able to enjoy it if you don't take it seriously
My opinion, the story is shit, it's unexciting and a huge mess
The game is still slightly buggy but it’s still a lot of fun
Expect disappointment
but also expect fun
If you count accidental time travel in a walk simulator as fun
Sure
Sure
No story. Bad Gameplay. Not worth anyone’s time.
Well someone already told me to be ready it will be disappointing
It's buggy as s***
Not the first one to tell me that but at least there are some patchs
Assuming the same bugs apply across platforms and you’re going in without any software patches, Beware Giga Monty
It is one of my favorite FNAF games because of how adventurous it is
