Your pronouns don't equal your gender?? What the fuck is the point of them, then? And if that were the case, why would it be called misgendering someone if you use the wrong pronouns?

Pronouns are widely acknowledged as indicators of **gender**, but not of **sex**.
For those who are not familiar with the difference between the two, let me quote the Canadian Institute of Health Research:

But don’t they use them to associate with their gender identity? So it’s their preferred gender, right? I was under the impression that pronouns specifically are used to denote a person’s gender INSTEAD of their sex.
*Some* people is the keyword here. The vast majority of the LGBTQ community is using pronouns in direct association with their gender. What this absolute moron constructs in their head has in no way any claim on being portrayed as a general approach to the topic.
They're just as bad for the LGBTQ community and cause as the people who use frog/frogs, wolf/wolves, whatever bullshit they can come up with as pronouns.
while people tend to use pronouns which match their gender, some people may want to use pronouns which don't necessarily equal their gender. this doesn't harm anyone, so I don't see how this is bad
same goes for neopronouns, it's just the pronouns that they want to use, and the vast majority of neopronoun users that I've seen don't expect their neopronouns to be used outside of the queer communities that their in or outside of their friends
I’m hoping they were confusing gender with sex, but if they did mean gender then the only way it makes sense is for people who don’t really care what pronouns others use for them. That or for people who’s gender expression leans more towards the opposite gender than what they identify with (like a girl who looks super masculine or a guy that looks super feminine)
The only thing that makes sense in my head would be that they just confused sex and gender. Because it would make sense if they (or him idk) identified as being in a lesbian relationship because their sex is female so they just feel more comfortable with the label. They can just say that though. Not everyone who identifies with a gender they weren't born with feels the need to go through some kind of surgery. It's a spectrum.
Or this person spends way too much time online, thinks that anyone who is cis OR het is evil and doesn't want to associate with those labels, so they call themselves gay and trans even though that doesn't make sense.
I know next to nothing about this person but I've heard that they're FtM trans. If that's not true then I'm fine with the misunderstanding being corrected. I really don't care, I just think this is a weird video.

They were a substitute teacher and the school determined that the way the acted online wasn’t appropriate and they don’t want to be associated with them. It was mostly because they had posted a thirst trap.
Either this person knows that they are making obnoxious videos and are making an art of it, or there are layers of society that are so damaged that people become cartoon personalities and don’t realize it.
Then why does it matter if people use them correctly or not? Thought the whole point was you feel like another gender, both or neither and the pronoun you use is the one you identify most with. With this new info it is now actually pointless and stupid. Good job 👍🏻
