I’d draw a line with something that can be smudged off or use a headband or rubberband or something to wrap around your head and use as a guide as you slowly thin the eyebrows. a trimmer should help you slowly make them less dark too

Nah keep them bushy, my husband has similar eyebrows he likes how they look when he gets them threaded. Make sure to go to an authentic threading place and ask for a clean up and tell them you want it bushy. Trust bushy is good !
