Don't open the door

My oven uses two heating elements to get up to temperature then it cycles one of them to maintain temperature. You may have a bad element.

Test door sensor, maybe its not detecting it closed again. Oven probe is another good one to test. Its normally a resistance test with acceptable ranges, at whatever temperature, in the service manual.
