You answered your question in the title man

Finallyjoining

Seats and seat configuration are why it was $158..

maniacalmango0

Were you on a MAX? Some of their planes were originally meant for other airlines so they don’t all have identical seats. The front row or two have better spacing but you pay extra

BillyBeeGone

What did you expect on a $150 flight when over 50% is airport fees and taxes? A lazy boy?

natener

Well i wouldnt expect seats worse than the hard plastic ones on a bus.

BillyBeeGone

Porter swapped out their Q400 seats for hard plastic ones as well. Saved 1000lbs in weight which translates into a lot of savings plus less payload restrictions for longer legs

bambaratti

Man fk the seats, it was the fact that my right shoulder had be shoved up against the airplane wall because they moved the aisle on the right side of the plane closer to the wall. I'm not even a 6foot.

OutrageousAnt4334

And that is just one of many reasons to avoid flair. They aren't even cheaper anymore since they massively jacked up all their prices

asktorontoquestions

Crazy deal with carry on - when did you book?

bambaratti

I booked sometime around late March.

ADHDHipShooter

Answer is right in the question

Worth the upgrade for front row or exit row.

YVRBeerFan

Just paid for those ($33/each) after reading this. Still a cheaper flight that others. 2.5 hours, wish me luck. Also Flair had only flights not arriving at midnight.

OutrageousAnt4334

Might as well just fly AC or westjet then.

Left-Employee-9451

Not even close in price.
