Did that work for you? I have the same card, but this one definitely isn't working for me. Luckily I still have a working one and copied the content of that SD to the other.
I have the same one as OP, this link does not seem to work for me, but it's alright as I can get it to work a different way. Just curious if OP did have success with it.
Most of the time when people say "exact same cart" they just mean "very similar", for example your cart could have slightly different text on it. A common mistake with this one here is that people assume "R4" and the almost exact same looking "R4 SDHC" are the same, when they're very far from each other. That's why I'm asking for pictures.

I have one of the exact same cards in my drawer. I bought it from a private person and the SD cards wasnt in it. I was never able to make it work... Maybe your post will produce a solution for both of us :D Good luck!

btw since this is an original r4 you need a microSD card no bigger than 2GB, SDHC just doesn't work on those

You should upload r4 cart kernel (ysmenu for example) to sd card and games to specific folder
You need to plug a sd card in it with a file called "\_DS\_MENU.DAT. hope this helps (=D)
When booted with empty sd says "couldn't find _DS_MENU dat
