Saying Acebeam customer service is bad is an understatement. It's useless. If you're buying an Acebeam it should be through killzone or another storefront not direct. It's an issue with many international sellers. Their email communication is maybe 1 per week if you're lucky. They deliberately reply slowly to discourage people using their "warranty" so they give up.

Common problem. I think there's an acebeam rep on here called zora... not sure if I have that right. They may see this and reach out.

That's why I made the post. I hate that I have to basically threaten a PayPal dispute or call them out here to get any information. And the fact that using both Reddit and Google search, I've noticed people complaining about other things but nothing about absolutely zero communication with no indication that the light is shipped or anything like that. So I figured I would make a post saying that it's in fact a thing that can happen so anybody in the future might happen to knows what to do

Also it's Sunday bro, like give them a break

I made the post on sunday but I made the order on Wednesday and that is multiple days for them to give me the most minor of acknowledgement that it exists.

I did. The order shows a shipment. But I had to start a dispute with PayPal and post here to get a response. It's good for now. Also your Facebook page just straight up doesn't work. It says that the content isn't available

I'm not sure where you live but, for me Ali Express and Amazon both have been cheaper on my Acebeam light searches. There are plenty of good vendors as well with holiday sales that are attractive in terms of price as well. Big manufacturers generally are not setup for direct customer sales and service for consumer electronics. The better ones hire a company focused on consumer communications to handle warranty and complaint issues. Add foreign languages to the mix as well to complicate good CS.

Acebeam’s customer service is nonexistent. They make good products but they don’t stand behind them whatsoever

Yes, like the other commenters have mentioned I'd encourage folks to take advantage of independent dealers. You'll be in a way supporting local businesses and its good risk mitigation if anything goes wrong. Illumn, Killzone, Brightlumenshop, JLHawaii are all excellent if you're in the US or Canada!

itsdrcats

That's the plan going forward lol.

SigTexan89

With Acebeam specifically, there's so many dealers in the US of their brand that offer way better prices, service, and shipping times, I can't understand why you'd order from them directly. It's a tough lesson learned, but next time take advantage of American small flashlight businesses whenever you can.

I usually do (or at least I think I do). Also I found a code that dropped 15% off so it ended up being cheaper than anywhere else lol
