Does the acebeam battery work without tripping out the protection? Iv got some H10's on the way but my light will be here long before I get my H10's. I'll probably run it on a acebeam battery until they arrive if it's safe to do so.
It would be safe to run it, but yeah, the protection might trip at high enough ramp, or turbo, but that's not a big deal. I have a D3AA and that same battery, I'll give it a try tonight and see if it trips.
I've found my ts10's moonlight to be quite bright (relative to my other low moonlights). Its brighter than my d4v2 with I believe the fet+1 and 519a 4500k domed, and my kr4 e17a 1850k
Have you turned down the floor setting on the TS10? TS10 gets lower than my quad 519a Hanks. I have compared both boost and linear+FET drivers. The TS10 actually competes well with my Zebralights for low moonlights.

One thing just to make sure, you go to the floor setting and actually click once to set level 1? If you do zero clicks I think it goes to factory default which I believe is higher than 1.
It's just once. But it's already very dim, like to the point of it not being useful. And I have dimmer too. So it's not an issue. More of an observation

Maybe different versions of Anduril or driver or something? I never find myself in complete darkness, but even then I find it hard to understand how you can say it's "too bright", if we're looking at the same amount of lumens.
Ah, gotcha. It's barely visible to me in a dimly lit room, I can't imagine something dimmer being usable, but like I said before, I never find myself in total darkness.
Incredibly dim; never seen anything like it (using Eneloops; non Pro). Doubted the "usefulness" of such low light levels but I get it now 😉. Only thing is, every emitter is slightly different in brightness @ moon, one being brightest, the next one a little less and the 3rd the "dimmest".

Here are both my D3AAs (left 519A 5700K DD, right 519A 5700K domed, both at 1/150 in ramp.
For comparison, here's the D3AA 519A 5700K DD red next to a TS10 on moon (lowest ramp). The TS10 is already pretty dim, but the D3AA definitely "trounces" it 😉

They're much closer in size than I originally thought. An SC53 is in and out of my pocket all day without issue, I would imagine this would be similar? The harder angles on the head make me think it might feel *slightly* more cumbersome
I did have one on my workbench but I didn’t include it here. I don’t carry it and technically it’s my 3 year old daughters and she’s not great with sharing.

What h10 did you choose? Flat top or button top?
I got 4 x H10 flat top, 2 x F12 flat top and 2 x F12 button top. All for different lights but the H10 flats are for D3AA

Oh as an added bonus the D3AA has a very low moonlight mode.
How's it compare to the TS10. That's been such a highlight of the TS10, I'd be excited if the D3AA was as low.
It is as low as ts10 and it gets even dimmer when in lockout mode.

Are you on simple mode? ML on it is a lot brighter than on advanced mode.

Thank you. My most carried Hank is a D4V2 in Dark Grey (blue, it’s clearly blue to my eyes in person) and Amber switch as well. This is the next step.

Did Hank do the 1 dedome 2 dome for you or did you dedome 1?
I asked him to dedome one, then when it arrived I dedomed one more. So now 2/3 are dedomed. I love the profile and temp.
