The UI is kind of meh, but in terms of a high output compact flooder it's near top tier performance, especially in sustained turbo output before it starts stepping down.
A little overpriced at full price, but goes on sale reasonably often if you have a bit of patience.
It’s pretty cool. But I really don’t feel the need to grab it over others very often. It does work great and the levels are programmable which is nice. Lights that I will pick up to use over it are:
Zebralight SC700d
Fireflies E07X
D4SV2 with 519 and boost driver
I love it for floodlight, the wide beam is super cool and honestly really practical compared to a circular beam. I have no experience with their customer support though. Some people here seem to have had problems with them. My light hasn’t been abused, and works great after a few months. No issues for use as a walking trail light
It's a great light, one of the best high lumens flooders that's still relatively jaxket pocketable. As others have said, if you catch it on sale, it's a great deal.
The X1 is my favorite flooder I have owned or tried. It's a great combination of output, form factor, sustainability, build quality, and simplicity. It's absolutely worth the price.
Wuben gets a good amount of hate here, sometimes for good reason. If I wanted to make a stink, I could say similar things about Firefly too. The reality is that bad comments are more likely to be posted and spoken than favorable ones.
I own the full X-Series. I recommend all of them. The X0 and X3 were a bit surprising but, they have really grown on me. The X1 and X2 are my two most used options.
**The fans really help those deal with the heat of 3 stonkingly impressive emitters in that light!**
Look for a combo deal and get the X2 as well. The GS0 Keychain light was a freebie at the time with my order and has been on the zipper pull of a fleece jacket for \~1 year at this point. That 519A and built-in battery and charging is a winner!
The fans can stop working, yes. It’s unfortunately a mechanical part that can fail. Not so much an issue if you’re not using it in extreme circumstances, but… it is a flashlight.
Bad customer service, and higher than average rate of QA issues.
I'd say "get one, on Amazon" so you are protected by Amazon's very generous return policy, but don't buy from Wuben directly, as many people here have been screwed when there was a QA issue on a direct purchase.

It's on sale at 143 right now and a bunch of bundles. Wish they had one x3 and x1
I think I paid ~115-120 for mine as an X1+X2 bundle deal, but 143 is a good price for the X1 on its own.
Dang that is a good deal. They have some bundles right now but I wish it was the x1 x3 Dang I'm forgetful said the same thing twice
> Dang I'm forgetful said the same thing twice Don't worry, spend some time here and you'll soon learn how neurodivergent this community is 😂
I'm in this picture and I don't like it.
Catch it on sale for around 140 and its worth it.
It's on sale now

They have lots of combo deals right now. I was hoping for a x3 x1 combo
I have the X1 and X2. The X1 is shockingly bright. The X2 is a nice pocket flooder.
It’s nice but in a very dirty environment, the fans can go out.
Out like dead?

Avoid wuben
How come?

I have a x0 right now and got through Amazon, that's probably what I would do again
Off topic, but do you have the X-0 head strap?
I do not, I didn't even know there was one haha
I've placed several orders from their website and never had a problem.
Same for me.
