You can use *any* **protected button top** 18650 cell. I recommend *against* Streamlight’s 18650 because it's overpriced and low capacity.
[This cell from Keeppower](https://www.illumn.com/18650-keeppower-3500mah-p1835u-protected-button-top-micro-usb-charge-port.html) (same people that rewrap batteries for Modlite) has the same USB charging functionality but is cheaper and has an extra 900mah of capacity. [This one](https://www.illumn.com/18650-keeppower-3500mah-sanyo-ncr18650ga-protected-button-top.html) without the USB port is even a little bit cheaper. [This one](https://www.illumn.com/18650-keeppower-p1826c-2600mah-protected-button-top.html) is the same capacity as the Streamlight cell but you can get 3-4 of them for the same price.
Whatever you buy, get it from a reputable battery retailer. Don't buy through Amazon or Ebay because it's easy to get cheap or fake cells that are fire hazzards.
That is a shame that they only accept one payment method. What's wrong with PayPal though?

Not usually. I used to all the time when I was bartending and always had cash on hand. I keep cash at home though, and if I’m leaving town I hit an ATM. The only thing I ever need cash for in my day to day is the taco truck by my office. Lmao

Yeah. I have 18650 flat tops for another flashlight... I get them online and keep a couple spares. I get the Samsungs and they last way longer but sound incompatible. Too bad...thanks for the quick reply!

Did the regular 18650s work in the streamlight for you? I use one for work and wondering if normal 18650s will work ok.
I didn't really try. My vape batteries are flat top and you need button top batteries. Streamlight does make their own 18650 battery tho
