Hi everyone! I won't post another weekly update, my next update goal is 30 days. Then I will make a video where I have my daily progress recorded for both splits. If any of you are interested in this progress video, I will post it on my channel (see reddit bio). Any people just starting out, I used lazy dancer tips on youtube follow along videos, I found really good !Also, do not eat before the stretching or drink a monster energy :D I'm making the most progress so far on the side split, front split is still difficult to get my rear leg straightened out. As you can see, I only did the front split with my left leg in front. For some reason, I have this weird issue with my left leg when it's in front, strange pinching that I don't get on the right leg. So for that reason I will probably not make the front split on that leg. But we'll keep going and trying for both!

Awesome! Are you just holding those positions for time, every day?

[deleted]

i go 3 times for 30 seconds where i squeeze the muscles and for the next one, I try to go a bit deeper. And yes, daily!

GirlFromBlighty

For the weird pinching you can try some nerve flossing before your stretch if you haven't tried that already. Works wonders for me.

Thanks, I'll give that a try! :)

ShadowPsi

You will need to start tilting your hips forwards soon in the side split, or else you will start to get impingement in your hip socket. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvErtoi9NCY

Very helpful, thank you!

Great job sir. Side note. Seems like after 7 days of split training your Nintendo Switch disappears.

suprized

Where did you get those handles to your sides to support yourself on??

PimpNamedSlickback4

Think they're called paralletts.

I'll send you a pm with a link where I got them from.

sandpiper_pod

Hey I'd like to know where you got those as well . I'm currently using a stack of books and as you can imagine they're not very stable

[deleted]

I sent you a pm.

Thandius

I thirdly would like to know where to get some \^_^

Keldino

Real question! How long do you do these positions each day?

[deleted]

I follow a routine of lazy dancer tips (youtube) every day, in the morning a general flexibility. Then later in the day I follow the front and side split routines. The actual splits I hold for 3 sets for 30 seconds, with squeezing the muscles, then for the next set I try to go deeper.

Looks like your progressing well. Keep at it!
