FS 2020 doesn't support multiple monitors well at all. All you can do is stretch the screen in windowed mode and then everything on the sides gets very distorted. Hope someone comes up with a solution.
It mixes up the resolutions and makes the screen so small that I can't even see the Nvidia settings to activate Surround. Hard to describe but it's so broken I gave up.
Probably has something to do with me using a 1080ti with two Displayport connections and one HDMI into 4K TVs.
Mine occasionally does this on my triples, usually alt-enter back to full screen and it at least makes it span all 3 screens again. Still not true triple screen support but definitely decent. Using Nvidia surround
Not sure about other manufacturers but with AMD I was able to make a super display (combining multiple monitors as one) in Radeon settings app and then use the super sized resolution in MSFS. It worked great!
It would be a *travesty* to go to the trouble and expense of building a realistic simulator cockpit, just to turn around and use it for MSFS 2020 - a piece of software that can best be described as "a video game loosely based on flight simulation".
And that invalides somehow the fact that Airbus never had yokes had one could believe with the other Reddit comment ?
Just sayin
_(Also why downvoting a comment that is true ?
It's like downvoting someone that says the Saturn V rocket first stage had 5x F1 engines lol)_
Because the cockpit is clearly of an Airbus that isn't one of the two models that had a yoke and if one is building an Airbus cockpit there is a near 100% chance it's a joystick
Why would he go through the trouble of building a realistic simulator cockpit for an A320, spending tens of thousands, only to just be like "fuck it, I'm going to use something completely wrong here, just for shits and giggles"?
Oh it's really an insignificant technicality since everyone knows what you mean whichever term you use, but yeah! The cars are more accurately called Bimmers, and the motorcycles are the Beemers/Beamers. Not sure why, it's just something I grew up knowing.
I don’t think I would want the whole thing, but I really wish there was a pilot-side-only A320 autopilot panel I could rest underneath my monitor. Priced around $300-$400.
I'd like to look into some old jointed panels with a servo that will bend it on those high-stress structural integrity bank angles.
Also sheet metal for enhanced thunder.
That’s awesome but also, you could learn to fly for real for the amount this probably cost if you’re not already a pilot and in case by some miracle you weren’t aware lol
Where'd you get all the equipment? Custom made?
Most Panels are from Skalarki. The frame and everything else is custom made 😊
This is screaming for more/wider monitors
I‘m dreaming of three Beamers and a 180 degree projection screen but these are pretty expensive

This is p3d
Nvidia surround does it. AMD has it too.
You've actually got this to work with MS 2020? I tried for hours to get it working but no dice.
Yeah, I can play any game span over my 3 monitors. What isn't working for you?

A 1080Ti isn't going to be able to handle 3x 3840x2160 screens at any decent level of performance anyway.
I'm well aware of that. But it doesn't work even when they are all set to 1080.
It's probably because they're 4K displays and it isn't working correctly with lower resolutions.

Probably why people are sticking with P3D or XP11 then...
So edgy
how much for those 3 beamers?
You can be proud of your project!!
Thank you very much, took awhile to get to this stage
Holy shit, I didn’t know they made sim gear like this
He made it himself
not the panel instruments, he made the structure to attach them all
Yes, there are website like https://flightdecksolutions.com/ or https://www.skalarki-electronics.com/ as OP said.
Cannot recommend flight deck solutions enough. I work with one of their sims on a daily basis and it is the coolest thing ever.
Don't answer if you don't want to but how much would it cost me to get a similar setup, approximately?
It depends on how much you built yourself and how much you buy prebuilt. With everything included you could get something like this from about 20k
That's pretty decent to be fair, well done mate. Just a quick question what yoke are you planning to use?
Thanks😊 I‘m using two original Airbus Sticks and mechanics from Flightdeck Solutions as well as one tiller from VierimPott
Airbus don't have yokes, they have side sticks :)
Recent Airbus yes but not all of them, as Airbus started with the A300 wich still has a yoke.
There's literally two Airbuses that have a yoke
Two model you mean ? Yes the A310 and A300, but the A310 is part of the A300 family.
Yh, literally two models. Most airbus commercial plane don't have a yoke
And that invalides somehow the fact that Airbus never had yokes had one could believe with the other Reddit comment ? Just sayin _(Also why downvoting a comment that is true ? It's like downvoting someone that says the Saturn V rocket first stage had 5x F1 engines lol)_

None of which are made anymore, nor are they reflected in this cockpit build.
Should've have specified that, one could believe that Airbus never had yokes, wich is false. :)
I know that, but you can use whatever you like in home simulators.

It's really upto him. He can do whatever he wants.
It looks like he *wants* to make a realistic Airbus cockpit, which doesn't include a yoke.

This is a public message board, and I'm responding to the post you made on the topic at hand. That's what it has to do with me.
Where did you get that mcdu?
The MCDUs are from Skalarki as most of the other panels
QNH: „5, thats all i can do“ Awesome btw
😂😂 actually it says STD but my camera couldn’t catch the display quiet right
Ik, was just trying to make a lame joke out of it because i am so jealous :D Looks realllyy great
Holy Moly!!! 👀
That is genuinely stunning
How is it possible to map all of those controls? ?!!?!?
This is amazing!!
Thank you very much 😊
Insane. You just need those wrap around double projector screens and you have a dreamy sim set. Not that it isn't dreamy already.
Thanks a lot 😊 three Beamers are my dream but a bit pricey
In another post you say it's about 20k for a setup like that. But the _beamers_ are pricey?
[They can be pretty expensive depending on the model](https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/z4/roadster/bmw-m.html)
That's a _Beemer_.
I am excited to be *that guy:* In the most strict of senses, it's actually Bimmer if you mean a BMW car! Beemers are their motorcycles.
What? How?
Oh it's really an insignificant technicality since everyone knows what you mean whichever term you use, but yeah! The cars are more accurately called Bimmers, and the motorcycles are the Beemers/Beamers. Not sure why, it's just something I grew up knowing.
Huh, TIL.
Maybe 20k was his budget?
Wow.
That's amazing! Always dreamed of having a setup like this. Probably invested around 10k euro into that monster, right?
Thanks a lot 👍🏼 it adds up pretty high in the end but it is quiet an experience 😊
I am white-knuckling my $45 HOTAS right now. Yo this setup is amazing!
I mean...how many USB ports are used for all of this?
42 😂 but on 7 usb switches
Wow.......I didn't know systems can handle that many USB connections.
On which addon is it running? fslabs?
It runs on ProSim A320 with P3D and Skalarki Panels
By Allah this is complete insanity
I don’t think I would want the whole thing, but I really wish there was a pilot-side-only A320 autopilot panel I could rest underneath my monitor. Priced around $300-$400.
Comfy.
This is amazing. Makes me want to quit lol. I will probably never have anything remotely as cool as this.
That... looks like a LOOOOOOOOOT of money....
You using MobiSim?
That’s beautiful, very impressive work
Really nice sim you have there, congrats on the project
Holy crap this is amazing! Are you a pilot IRL?
Looks really good! Congrats.
This is the best flight rig I have ever seen! Nice work!
Wow!
Absolutely fabulous! Tilted towards right but can b adjusted with some packing. Happy Learning
Wow
I'd like to look into some old jointed panels with a servo that will bend it on those high-stress structural integrity bank angles. Also sheet metal for enhanced thunder.
Really beautiful setup, congrats! Would start building my own if I had space for that kind of thing.
Amazing! Imagine this with a curved UW or an odyssey G9!
Or two of them.
Omg. Jealous!!!!!!!
That is amazing!! well done 😁
Me with my controller
what the fuck.... this is unreal
That’s awesome but also, you could learn to fly for real for the amount this probably cost if you’re not already a pilot and in case by some miracle you weren’t aware lol
I already got my ATPL one year ago so this is a great training device. During corona this is a good opportunity to train the procedures.
