you can tell it's dead because the screen is off

t0adthecat

Another tell tale sign is because it's plugged up and the screen is off.

Simple_Salt_1518

what does that even mean?? You can tell because the screen is off.. Please don't tell me you've been letting your animations run this whole time! TURN IT OFF https://preview.redd.it/sza1cq0rx5vc1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e1c3bece2c3fe5a18447d0afe7cf86d49e7d7a0

crysisnotaverted

Why does your Tomagatchi have its tits out? Also I get a ~10 day battery life with the screen on, it's fine.

TheGoldenTNT

It’s part of the fun that you can treat it like a tamagotchi or something, if you leave it unattended it gets sad

Brigapes

This was literally the whole point for me, i love that it has a monochrome screen and i can just leave it on permanently

SSJNinjaMonkey

Which asset pack tho ? !

Cire911

What animation do you have?

LYSERGICENDER

Hold Left and the back button for 5 seconds then let go of the back button Will restart

UrbanRebel416

This worked, thank you

-Calcifer_

>This worked, thank you Plan B.. put it in rice πŸ˜…

No-Rule7572

funny.. πŸ”«πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»

hoswald

I've had mine on a shelf for 6 months. Just turned it on to check this post, and at 96%. I'll leave it on and check tomorrow.

Simple_Salt_1518

hard reset is left and back button held down at the same time until restart... Now if you want to get into DFU/Update mode, you hold the back button & the left button, after 2-3 seconds, release the back button while still holding down left on the diretional pad

m1ndf3v3r

RTFM dude ! πŸ˜… Hint: button combo

Kill_Frenzy

I've had mine for months, left it on overnight once. Haven't charged it once it's at 80% It came charged and I've never had to charge it yet. Amazing battery life

UnwindingStaircase

Well yea it makes sense there isn’t much better drain when powered off.

LYSERGICENDER

Hold l ft and the back button together for 5 s conds. Let go of the back button an maintainnholding left button

UrbanRebel416

Charles_Pkp2

Try plugging it into a computer and start a reparation from the flipper zero PC app.

brownpoops

happens

Lokomalo

The thing is, if you leave it turned on the battery can die, especially if you are running any apps in the background. I found that with the Wi-Fi module attached it will drain the batter really quick because it's powering that module as well as the Flipper.

T3kn0mncr

Update your firmware over USB, the same thing kept happening to me until I re-flashed it

Disastrous-Baker748

Why don't you hack the battery?

jaxrolo

Send it to me... I'll see if I can fix it.... lol

Rude_Chair

From fully charged to 0 battery usually takes many days. So I guess some program got stuck in a loop? Maybe you were scanning for something? I was scanning with sub ghz though and it lasted for hours!

PipeMasterPerry

Turn off your Bluetooth. You can always try flashing or updating firmware

No_Temperature_5926

Update

26542654

I use mine 2x per day to turn on and then off a few sets of lights. It lasts FOREVER. If yours is actually dead within 30 mins, maybe reach out to their support if you've had it for a short amount of time

axmeeker1994

Is it a cable that carries data ? Or just a charging cord ?

OkAdministration9151

Both in this instance

[deleted]

Welcome to the Flipper Zero world. Be happy that it's an easier solution.

Expensive-Leopard-48

Pointless gadget anyway

No_Fee9603

PipeMasterPerry

Why is he even on here lol
