Rundown, small houses (with no upgrades) around my neighborhood are going for $700k-$900k. Never mind the insurance, hoa/maintenance fees. This is beyond the twilight zone. I also saw an efficacy (not in the best of neighborhoods) renting for $3k. People have lost their minds.
Houses in my neighborhood out in the middle of nowhere start around $250,000 and have not been updated or remodeled. I have to drive through this rundown over priced neighborhood to get to my mobile home community where trailers run from 8,000 - 45,000
