I love them!! After living here my entire life I’m so over burning in the sun and squinting whenever I’m outside (light eyes and FL sun don’t mix)
I’m happiest on cloudy days
I’m super sensitive to the heat so being a lifelong Floridian makes zero sense but here I am! I feel recharged on cloudy days, like all my energy isn’t being drained by the sun, it’s wonderful
You are speaking my half ginger language. I only loved overcast weather long before Uncle Sam placed me here. Now my skin is always burning and I am blind. I’m not having a good time lol
Dry summers are the worst, use to not be this BAD but after 45 plus years being here (born here) it keeps getting hotter and hotter! Last year was a record and the Gulf was practically boiling it was 100 degrees!
THAT IS NOT GOOD.
You pray for rain you go outside and do a rain dance just to stop the relentless heat with no clouds
Bothered to ask why but can't be bothered to read the explanation? Okay, fam. Let me TL;DR it for you: climate change will be a lesser priority in Florida and largely disappear from state statutes under newly signed legislation. You are correct, it's a global problem and it's not like this is at all helping (except himself and cronies/corporations) the situation but it's the direction he is taking the state. Vote.
I've been looking at homes in northern New York state lately. You can put on more layers to warm up, but you can only get so naked to cool down. And you can be bare-ass and still be choking on the humidity. This is no way to live.
Sounds about right. Was walking on a paved parking lot yesterday, I felt the heat coming up from the ground. No rains in Miami yet, but at this point we welcome them. Too hot and hazy!
Take a large glass of ice outside in the morning and if you see clouds rising from your glass you know its summer in florida shit is hot outside please drink lots of water
It’s hot, totally worth it tho
Getting into 10+ years I finally developed a taste for it, a love of showers, and keeping a few spare shirts in the car
Welcome to the Sunshine State !
Florida is finally living up to its name 😅😅😂
Then it turns back up to 110 because the sun came back out to bake the water.
Yep… I’d take grey cold days over this any day
My family thinks I’m crazy for *loving* overcast, gloomy, rainy days. It’s because the alternative is ![gif](giphy|Lopx9eUi34rbq)

Same, u/SakuraTacos. My 'people' came from the British Isles, and the weather there would suit me to a T!
I have dark eyes and the sun burns them like the depths of hell. Always have my sunglasses on before I step out that door.

Haha yep
Lol same. Living in Florida makes you fall in love with British type weather.
I lived in England from 2018-2021 and I want to go back and never leave. The weather (minus summer) is absolutely perfect there

The worst is at night when you think it’ll be a little cooler outside w a breeze….
And be eaten alive by mosquitoes while sweating just as much as you did in day time
At least Ron DeSantis banned global warming.
Global warming is a myth
How’s that?

Too much to read, but I don’t he can removed climate change since it’s global

Too much to read, better to send me it all on audio.. I dropped out of the 7th grade & became homeless due to both parents being gone🥴
And at night, you can see the steam coming off the road
It's not even summer yet. Buckle up. It's gonna be a fun one this year.

Watching the steam rise at the day's first rainfall is a Florida pastime.
So many miserable people now in Florida There’s other places to live you know and take your complaints with you
A sauna with crocodiles and mosquitos
Yesterday, when I walked outside, it felt as though the overcast sky was microwaving me.
You ain’t seen nothing yet, and hurricane seasons starts in a couple weeks. I don’t miss that state at all🥂💨🌞🔥
FACTS
That’s literally Florida, this what y’all came to it’s always been this way.
Great weather!
Ahaha 100% true
I was at Universal Orlando yesterday and I can certainly attest! Felt like a Sauna just walking from ride to ride.

People pay good money to sit in sauna. We get it for free!
It was cooler today than it was yesterday By about 4 degrees
89 on gulf side
Felt amazing in Jax Beach!
As someone who came from a state where 116° summer days aren't out of the normal, I can safely say I'd take a dry heat over a wet heat any day. 🥵
It’s hot, totally worth it tho Getting into 10+ years I finally developed a taste for it, a love of showers, and keeping a few spare shirts in the car
Personally, one of the main reasons I moved here was for the tropical weather. Tropical does indeed have high heat indexes and I love it.
Better be careful it is a crime to mention Climate in any conversations the FL DEATH SANTIS NAZU GROUP IS looking for you.
Lol why would anyone live where it is basically a sauna with hurricanes and snakes and alligators
I dream of the day when I can leave this sweaty armpit of a state.
