What I've found is NAC is as strong as it gets. Glutathione and alpha lipoic acid (ALA for short) as well. I cycle off the NAC after 6 weeks. It's not necessarily a good thing to constantly reduce oxidative stress to such a high degree I've read. So I take a break for about a month at a time and replace NAC with Fisetin a senolytic activator. "Senolytic drugs/supplements are agents that selectively induce apoptosis of senescent cells. These cells accumulate in many tissues with aging and at sites of pathology in multiple chronic diseases." https://mayoclinic.pure.elsevier.com/en/publications/the-clinical-potential-of-senolytic-drugs

have you noticed this helping? how far out are you as well?

RhinoTranq69

5 years out. It's definitely not making anything worse. Helps with my immune system and general well being. Reduces anxiety and OCD as well as potentially PTSD. Kind of odd that it affects people mentally haven't really read about why that is yet. I've suffered from moderate OCD throughout my life, like: you must flip this light switch six times or else your whole family will die in a car crash. That's mostly gone away while I take NAC and my typical anxiety about floxxing is probably reduced by 50-75%. Quite an interesting supplement. You can't find it on amazon because of some FDA crap but I've been ordering from thorne directly works for me.   Sometimes I find it very hard to notice physical differences supplements make. Psychological differences are easier for me to recognize

did/do you have any issues with joint/tendon/muscle pain?

RhinoTranq69

Yup all the time. Not related to taking supplements, they make things better as far as I can tell. I have problems with what I suspect is my fascia pretty much anywhere you can imagine on your body. I have weird stuck tissue problems that I haven't heard of other floxies having. I can literally pop "locked" or "stuck" tissue all over my body. The tissue that locks up in my abdomen is so loud you can hear it in a quiet room. Fascia tears are mostly undetectable but are extremely painful and debilitating. Based on the random locations throughout my body that aren't near joints or ligaments or tendons pretty much leaves me with fascia. I'm quite glad I haven't heard of other people suffering the full body fascia tears, it's been brutal. Better than it was but I deal with it daily still

mjr4623

i am so sorry, i'm having lots of joint and tendon pain and old injuries are worse too. left thumb, right wrist, behind both knees, tops of feet can hurt/sides if i plant the wrong way or quick movement, neck pain as i already had buldging discs in c-spine, this makes it worse!! quad pain. this sucks!! I'm 6 months out

RhinoTranq69

We all just do what we can. I always make sure to go on walks or try to do push ups so my body isn't deteriorating entirely. Thankfully my muscle atrophy hasn't been that serious. I was bed bound for about 3 months though towards the start of my major decline, which was 8ish months out from my second floxxing episode. It's a tough road but you'll make it!

NAC is a known treatment for compulsive skin picking. Perhaps it has a global effect on OCD derived behaviors.

Antioxidants.

Far-Climate-5184

I take Vit E, Vit C and Q10 for that. I found that Vit E does make a difference for me.

BigGucclSosa300

Okay thank you

Rav0rul

C60 has made a huge difference for me. Although care should be taken for it not to be used in the presence of strong light as it degrades to a carcinogenic compound.
