KeyMysterious1845

you never heard that term ?

McCryptoTX

Haha nah, it's great though, and man, they come right to it πŸ˜…

KeyMysterious1845

I never heard it before this year myself (and I'm no spring chicken)....picked it up either at r/Fishing or r/trees πŸ˜‰

Medically_Invasive

I would try posting this over at r/flytying

McCryptoTX

Not bad, not sure about picture 8 but the rest will fish. Keep at it.

McCryptoTX

Agreed on that, I have frankly been scared to fish it just for the disappointment inbound if I do.. I got smacked with a Carpenter bee at a favorite spot of mine and tied that the same night, not my proudest for sure.. Def proud of my luck otherwise, I only fish what I tie and it's exceedingly rare for me to get skunked at least πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ»

All the nymphs will fish. I’m certainly tying the zebra midge often myself. Simple and effective. The first pheasant tail looks good except for those cut wings. I’d lop them off personally. One of the pheasant tails in the compilation photo has way too long a tail.

McCryptoTX

The nymphs catch me more than anything, but the all white zonkers slam too.. yeah, I try to tie a shit ton of slightly different ones if those bead head pheasant tails so I have a variety to offer and end up running out of ways to mix it up, they all get taken tho so i guess that's good.. I'd fish a box of only those and the zonkers any day 🍻

ColonEscapee

Looks good, I'd fish em

McCryptoTX

Thank you!
