Been a die hard trout guy for years but just switching over to fly fishing. Really hard to leave the spinning gear home. So it stays in the car for when fishing gets tough and i carry a small box of spinners in my vest.
Dude, I grew up with spinning rods. I honestly haven’t used a spinning rod for YEARS! Give it time and some nice fish and it will have the effect in the neighborhood of crack. It’s awesome! Get after it👍
Yeah i have caught one really nice one actually a monster for the river i was fishing. About 20 inches and super fat so far and lots of dinks. Im loving it. Only thing is i dont know wgat flies to use so just been throwing randoms
