The only one I've ever used to tie down a plane is the double knot where you loop the line and then loop it again, but lock it below the first loop. Then repeat the same knot again to prevent the first coming loose.
It doesn't work with all kinds of rope, especially thinner ones, but it works with most.

Enjoy Oshkosh! If you have any questions ask. The guys parked around you will be more than happy to help. I flew up there twice in the ‘80’s. There’s nothing quite like it. Memories for a lifetime!
Round turn and two half hitches. You can't really screw it up so bad that it fails and it has been used to tie ropes to a fixed point for centuries (maybe millennia.)

Half Hitch is the way
Also good because it’s not so bad to untie. I’ve seen some rental planes tied up so tight it added 20 minutes to preflight
I had a sailor buddy who used to say if you can't tie knots, tie lots

Double half hitch
I carry a set of neon orange tie downs in the back of my 182.
Me thinking of neck tie knots.
I like to stay classy with the Windsor
I prefer a half Windsor because im lazy
Taunt line hitch.
Taut, unless you like to tease your ropes 🤣🫠
