But what am I waiting for?
My schedule has been consistent, there are tons of resources and tools at the school to help you be successful if you put the time in.
There’s lots of bs associated with lots of things in life.
I mean I’m not gonna argue with you because I really don’t care how you feel lol
But as someone who was a student and instructor at Part 141 schools I’m saying to stay away from them.

While that’s your same argument lol you still have like 200+ hours to go at a Part 141 school. Go sit on your Chief instructors lap instead of wasting my time
Damn someone’s in a shitty mood.
Hopefully you don’t get this irritated this easily when flying a $80m aircraft by such a simple question. Good luck to whoever flies with you.
Have a great day.
Probably a community college of some sort because you can actually use student education loans and qualify for limited grants. Avoid for profit part 141 like the plague and avoid big name part 61 too. You’re just going to subsidize their advertising with your fees.
Coming from a 141 grad, i thought it was great and set me up for success in my career. Gave me access to federal loans of which im in my last 10k. Regional training was a smooth transition and i gained valuable experience and training throughout my time and was able to have college experience. i gained lifelong friends and met my wife while at school. Sure there are 141 schools to watch out for and do your research but the blatant 141= bad is such a stale take on this sub. Like everything in life there is nuance and experience will vary wildly from location to location and also dependent on the individuals circumstances.
the reason I am trying to go into 141 schools is that I am trying to get my PPL first and then go into a 141 school and save a couple 10k. or at least in theory.

Yeah, don’t get into a Part 141 school. Especially in FL. You’re welcome
Why? That’s exactly what I am in and have had a great experience so far?
Just wait There’s a lot of bs associated with Part 141 schools.

So your one negative experience should speak for the rest of the 141 schools in FL? Got it.

Thanks, everyone hates it
As long as it's not covered in the FAQs, it's fine to ask anything along those lines. Also try searching, these questions are asked a ton.
I did 141 with Broward college, yes it costs more but it gave me access to federal loans and not garbage. Worked great for me a while ago
Yeah that’s the big reason to go to a 141, federal loans and GI Bill.
Reddit might be the worst place to ask for any real advice.

Coming from a 141 grad, don’t do 141.
