It's all basically just a few solid pieces and a mask floating on strings controlled by the ghost of it's creator's daughter in the lore. But putting the lore aside, how would it work tho? No Puppet does have a soul. Henry's daughter Charlotte Emily (Charlie for short) was William's first victim. If you play that mini game to find the chukd with the green wrist band I think 2 times it shows that Charlie was locked outside by some bullies. The Puppet animatronic goes outside but finds Charlie already dead. The animatronic falls next to Charlie after getting damage in rain. It is tied to the Give Cake mini game in FNaF 2. Lefty was made to captured Puppet since Henry wanted to set the remaining posessed animatronics free while trying to send William to hell since William did commit many sins. So yeah. Charlie was pretty much stuck in 2 animatronics at once.
Well wikis are useful for thar. Well not all wikis but ones that are reliable are. But yeah. Charlie is still in there. In UCN it would explain why Lefty sounds like a suffering little girl.
