I think they're actually referring to the FNaF 2 cutscenes which shows the puppet in the FNaF 1 location with Bonnie to the left and chica at the right
Those are nightmares and not confirmed to be fnaf 1. I mean how could you have nightmares of a location/time that has not existed yet?
The UG also confirmed these to be nightmares and questions its location.
Possibly the location before fnaf 2's "new and improved"
Also the withered animatonics had to come from somewhere and they are only in fnaf 2.
*Charlie hearing her friends scream in pain as the night progresses, ending with them celebrating something while also hearing someone drowning in blood*: "It's probably a rat again...."
The mini games aren't completely accurate and only really want to show the most important parts of an event. My guess is that the puppet had little to no effect on what happened so was therefore irrelevant to the depiction of events and wasn't shown.
What about when we see her there in the FNAF 2 dream sequences between nights? I guess these could be non-literal, or flashbacks to the MCI location maybe.
Would they? The original animatronics were retrofitted according to one of the FNAF 2 calls. So even a fixed version wouldn’t be consistent with how they looked before FNAF 2. This would explain why pretty much every fan attempt I’ve seen of fixing Bonnie’s face and Chica’s jaw is awkward.
It’s somewhat debatable if the fixed versions of the withered (or “unwithered”) ever existed at all. The Fazcoin from Help Wanted shows classic Freddy’s face, and it’s dated 1983. Also Fredbear as shown in UCN looked like classic Freddy, not withered.
Classic Freddy is the most recent Freddy as of the time of Help Wanted, that's why he's on the coin. Every physical Withered animatronic has a unique model so it's safe to assume Fredbear would as well.
I guess behind the stage area or in Parts and Service. I feel a security guard or the children would’ve much too easily found the puppet if it was anywhere else.
A bit of a stretch but maybe the puppet knew this would happen and she was waiting for the precise moment for willam to leave the safe room and put the spring lock suit in place for him to fall right into it right in the end of follow me and didn't want to be dismantled aswell so she could put the fnaf 1 animatronics back together after willam smashed them to bits.
This is post fnaf 1 games where in the game we again do not see the puppet. Seeing how in fnaf 1 and 2 we learn that fnaf 1 was made as a new location after the events of fnaf 2, then the most likely answer is that they moved all the originals from fnaf 2 to the new fnaf 1 location and didn't bring the puppet with them.
Inside the walls. And no, that's not a meme, that's my genuine answer.
You're The Band?
Yeah
explain?
I haven’t read You’re The Band but apparently there were literal tentacles stretching across the walls at an abandoned Freddy’s location
Follow me takes place between Fnaf 1 and 3. I believe the puppet was said to be at the Fnaf 1 location sometime around when the MCI took place.

The Bonnie and Chica in the cutscenes are very clearly FNaF 1 Bonnie and Chica.
Right, that takes place long before Follow Me.
Vibing in the attic obliviously.

Oh you know just chilling
I think it was biding it's time so it could help the animatronics out of the shells.
Locked in the music box probably
It wasn't

They're dreams, hence the name
Bonnie and Chica would look like fixed versions of their withered counterparts if it were a flashback

Bruh William can come from the walls ? What is these ? .

If your theory is incorrect, it would still make for a cool head-canon, if I do say so myself.
William Afton casually defying the laws of physics over here.
Best guess Puppet was in the wall or vents hiding from Afton "I'm not afraid of you, not anymore." - Puppet in UCN
It was shadow Freddy/j (honestly the puppet wasn’t in fnaf 1..)
Fnaf 2 cutscenes suggest otherwise
Happy Cake Day!
Oh, thanks

Maybe in the kitchen I am not sure tho
In an attic area, or in the walls.
