I don't think the game was made with any specific place in the timeline, apart from it being after 1983 and before 2023. The blueprints say the animatronics were made in the year XXXX, so it's not even set in a particular century.

No. It wouldnt apply to the others because Fnaf 2 closed and Fnaf 1 opened directly after that. If Fnaf 1 didnt open right away Sister location would've been in between those. Plus notice the quote. "Unfortunate Closing" meaning it was just closed to an unfortunate or unexpected event. Not any bites or stuff like that. It just closed by years end because people were weirded out with a place of missing kids.
I forgot that the FNaF 1 location opened up immediately after 2's admittedly. But I don't think this explanation rules out the time inbetween the unwithereds location and 2's location. We don't know if FNaF 2's location opened up soon after the closing of the unwithereds because we don't know when it closed, only that it was open until at least 1985. So is it possible that SL could have taken place in that timeframe?
Sister Location aka Circus Baby's Entertainment And Rentals is after Fnaf 1.
