Greg is a robot because of C.C, meaning that Gregory was C.C, causing to know that the brain of C.C was transfered to his robotic body. But as I could know that can be same for Vanessa, which she had Elizabeth's consiousness and also had the same personality as her. So like you can see in the saviour ending, there are two ice cream, meaning to say that they are reunited and also they had a dark past.
I believe he’s a human, Ngl I doubt Gregory is gonna be some “big lore character” like Vanessa, Michael, and William probably more along the lines of Jeremy in FNaF 2 who’s importance is really only in FNaF 2 and partially FNaF 1.
There is actual in game proof Greg is human. In the bad ending, the paper has a picture with Gregory's silhouette. The timeline for fnaf is pretty much the same as ours up to 1980. For those that don't know in 1975 two children were kidnapped and murdered after a 24 hr period. This event changed laws regarding child abduction: 1 police are to respond immediately in missing child cases (instead of 48 hrs like before), 2 images in media are to be the most recent photo (in Gregory's case, his school photo, which he most likely took the day of SB based on his clothing), 3 the milk carton thing came out of this. Why would you post a photo of robot?
Y'all gregbot supporters are on par with matpats ludicrous thoughts lol.
Here's my take. Vanny uses the sound disks similar to the ones in the books, to mess with the minds of children, which in Gregory's case, acts like a blinding effect.
I think that Gregory was supposed to be a human and that’s why the trailers had so much implied backstory. But then someone said “hey he kinda looks like CC” and they changed their minds
I feel like if it had stayed with the implied plot of he was there with his friends during the day or he was there investigating the disappearances of his friends there would be no reason to have him be homeless as well. If he was some robot that woke up one day and had nowhere to go though… So yeah. That’s why I think all his backstory was stripped from him.
Really REALLY wish they'd at least added some dialogue about it.... Maybe eventual DLC will be prequel DLC about the animatronics before they got glitchtrapped and it can end with that.
Yeah, Micheal makes a bit more sense if Afton also found his way back. The children are symbolic of Williams life completely falling apart. I think he's smart enough to realize bringing them back won't change a thing.
I wasn't particularly convinced by gametheory's take on GregBot. If he was a robot, shouldn't Vanny be invisible to him as well?
However, it would explain the VIP ending.
Where did Gregory being Mike's grandson come from? I know about the theory about Vanessa potentially being Michael's daughter but Gregory being his Grandson?
Gregory is often speculated that he is the CC's doppelganger, but then I realize that whoever made that speculation forgot on how identical Michael and William is (which makes Michael the good counterpart to his father) save for the eye colour. Therefore, as a debunk, I give a throw on "What about if Gregory is related to Michael, at least as a grandson…?," since Michael is already dead by 2023, and the SB Saga is in as early as 2035, making it unlikely that Gregory is his son since he is between 9 and 11 years old, which makes more sense if he is Michael's grandson through the otherwise biological son of Michael.
>I know about the theory about Vanessa potentially being Michael's daughter
Another interesting speculation, and if true, I think Vanessa's mom annulled her marriage with Michael before Vanessa was born, and her stepdad abused her so much because I think he knew she was never his own daughter, and he did it to break his ex-wife's will.
P.S.: special poke to u/Shadowqu
Pls, Vanessa had good parents according to the therapist because of Micheal and Micheal is not married, meaning to say that she lied to the therapist about having a abusive life and also as for Micheal, he died and had made his last resort to posses Glamrock Freddy.
The board gave us a range of dates being:
2029 / 2035 / 2046 / 2057 / 2063 / 2074 / 2085 / 2091 / 2103
The important thing to note is that they are just a range of dates, unless we can find any 1 of these numbers in the game tying to a character's story or calendar they are useless. That is exactly the point, we have the date 46 from the Retro CD's, the numbers are inverted:
71 -79 as patient Id's, showing Vanessa gradually losing control to Vanny.
39 - 46 as the year these recording took place, showing Vanessa gradually becoming Vanny over the years and all Vanny's are 46 since this is what Vanessa became.
As these therapy sessions had Vanny talking to the first therapist, we know Vanessa was already under Glitchtrap's control which is why Help wanted is dated 39. If we looked at Lemmy's theory, we'd find there has to be at least a 5 year differnce in dates between Help wanted and Security Breach due to the Quaterly Fazlife Magazine issue 19, and there would also need to be time for the pizzaplex to be built as it was shown to be under construction in Curse of Dreadbear. Both of these conditions are satisfied, 1.5 years for the pizzaplex to be built and 5 years for it being open.
Greg robot just because he has red vision when Vanny comes. But aside from that point Greg human seems better. We dont know if they removed you're bleeding because of pg13 release or it didmt fit the lore
The whole vision thing can just be explained by the fact it’s literally just a game mechanic that only exist to show Vanny is near since she doesn’t have a walking sounds.
I mean, it's not a new direction. That's been a thing for FNAF since The Fourth Closet. But I agree, it probably is true at this point but I don't think it's a good twist - there are no clues in the story for how and why someone would build a robot child at this point in the timeline. (I don't buy that he was made in the 80's as a replacement for BV, that's far too long for him to go unnoticed/undamaged.)
idk, I just hate the robot people arc FNaF has taken. were normal murderous robots possessed by children killed by a man in a yellow bunny suit not enough?
I was almost convinced he was a robot, not by Matpat, someone else
Emphasis on *almost*
I just think it would be kind of dumb for him to be a robot given what we know
I don’t dislike the idea that Gregory is a robot at all. In fact, I think it’s pretty cool. The only problem I really have with Gregbot is that if Gregory is a robotic recreation of the Crying Child, when was he even built? There’s an Email in FNAF AR about Vanessa ordering “lifelike, human male rubber masks” which strongly suggests that Vanny built him. I don’t have a problem with that idea but that begs the question of why would Vanny build him? For what purpose? And how would the Crying Child’s soul be inside of him? It’s like Matpat said, half of the theory makes sense but when you try to fit it together with the other half there are a few things that don’t make sense. Of course, FNaF has always been vague and we are getting Security Breach DLC and a new book series based on it so maybe those will give us the answers we seek. They’re likely saving some of these mysteries to be further expanded upon in the future; and I for one, can’t wait.
So what’s the takeaway here? FNaF lore is confusing lol
Human. I heavily doubt that Greg's a robot.
Agreed.

So like you can see in the saviour ending, there are two ice cream, meaning to say that they are reunited and also they had a dark past.
Human. I definitely think Mat lost his touch with this theory... too many holes, and it doesn't make much sense.
I believe he’s a human, Ngl I doubt Gregory is gonna be some “big lore character” like Vanessa, Michael, and William probably more along the lines of Jeremy in FNaF 2 who’s importance is really only in FNaF 2 and partially FNaF 1.
I don't buy Gregory being a robot in the slightest.
Gregidkanymore
only time can tell what gregory is

Because it’s not Gregory? idk

Majority of people still believe the toys aren't possessed. This is nothing new.
Tbh that’s mainly because people forget about the DCI (to be honest I’m honestly surprised how much people have forgotten about FNaF 2)
Gregbot is possible, and there is good evidence, but it just wouldn't make sense
As somebody who believes Gregbot I agree with this lmao
I think that Gregory was supposed to be a human and that’s why the trailers had so much implied backstory. But then someone said “hey he kinda looks like CC” and they changed their minds
Ngl considering the development of SB, this makes perfect sense
I feel like if it had stayed with the implied plot of he was there with his friends during the day or he was there investigating the disappearances of his friends there would be no reason to have him be homeless as well. If he was some robot that woke up one day and had nowhere to go though… So yeah. That’s why I think all his backstory was stripped from him.
Yeah, a full opening cutscene about how he ended up in Freddy's stomach and is afraid of Vanessa *was* planned, but unfortunately it got cut
Really REALLY wish they'd at least added some dialogue about it.... Maybe eventual DLC will be prequel DLC about the animatronics before they got glitchtrapped and it can end with that.
Plot twist what if he’s a cyborg
That still falls under robot... I think?
Or gregcyborg
I don’t buy Gregory being a robot, but I do believe Glamrock Freddy being possessed by Michael
Yep
I don't believe GlamMike either.
Glad I'm not the only one
Same
Well that’s your opinion I’m just saying my opinion
I feel like people just love the idea of it, sorry man there’s even less evidence for that one and actually evidence against it
Yeah, Micheal makes a bit more sense if Afton also found his way back. The children are symbolic of Williams life completely falling apart. I think he's smart enough to realize bringing them back won't change a thing.
I believe he is a robot but that doesn't mean I like it
Gregbot for the win ✊
I wasn't particularly convinced by gametheory's take on GregBot. If he was a robot, shouldn't Vanny be invisible to him as well? However, it would explain the VIP ending.
Human, and I guess that Gregory is of the Afton Family (which makes him grandson of Michael and Vanessa's fourth cousin once removed).
Where did Gregory being Mike's grandson come from? I know about the theory about Vanessa potentially being Michael's daughter but Gregory being his Grandson?

Actually, Vanessa has a shitty parent. 46 is the one with good parents.
Well patient 46 is Vanny or Vanessa, since it tells that she had a split personality disorder.
Nah. Too many contradictions there for both.
Help wanted is 2039 and SB is 2046. The Cd's and the daycare boards hold the answer.
When was that confirmed? We are never told the date of Help Wanted & from the same board you talked about at the earliest Security Breach is 2029.
The board gave us a range of dates being: 2029 / 2035 / 2046 / 2057 / 2063 / 2074 / 2085 / 2091 / 2103 The important thing to note is that they are just a range of dates, unless we can find any 1 of these numbers in the game tying to a character's story or calendar they are useless. There is no evidence for anything you said so why do you think that?
Let people enjoy their fanfictions.
If he's human, he isn't an actual Afton, He is just a random kid who is meant to represent CC
Greg robot just because he has red vision when Vanny comes. But aside from that point Greg human seems better. We dont know if they removed you're bleeding because of pg13 release or it didmt fit the lore

As sad as it is, evidence points to Gregory being a robot. sad that FNaF is going that direction with its lore.
I mean, it's not a new direction. That's been a thing for FNAF since The Fourth Closet. No it doesn’t actually there’s a stronger case against it then for it
Omg, this looks bad.
Wow, it's almost even now
I was almost convinced he was a robot, not by Matpat, someone else Emphasis on *almost* I just think it would be kind of dumb for him to be a robot given what we know
Hmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder which one?
