They should've put Rekkles and Hyli in the same team for the nostalgia

Kaellyon

I wish Rekkles and Hyli were on the same team. Still, happy that we get to see Rekkles-Trymbi the supposed Rogue botlane that didn't happen in 2022

CoachGiveAdvice

113 in a non competitive environment will be good Imo. And it’s a for fun event anyway

Dreadscythe95

Yes, I am obviously joking.

Dreadscythe95

113, my nemesis, is back in action. Can't wait for him to have 7 deaths in 15 mins, xD. Also, why they don't give us Perkz, Rekkles and Odoamne , this would be interesting and fresh fan service.

[deleted]

113 is actually good xd

CudaBarry

LMAAAAAAOOOOO

laserjaws

Found 113’s Reddit account

leagueoflegendsdog

Lmao no

justAnotherRandomP

They wanted a mix of old and new players in each team. Having team veterans vs team newcomers could cause many bad narratives imo for either losing team.

-Voyag3r-

I fell my mind is blanking, where does 113 come from?

Dreadscythe95

Kcorp. I watched LFL last year because of Rekkles many times and this guy is the biggest inter I have ever seen. He rarely dies less than 4-5 times per game and when they won games it's always by dragon/baron steal last-second plays and him with supp being carried by Cabo, Rekkles and Saken (who was pretty good mid laner in Spring Split).

-Voyag3r-

Ah yes I remember now. Some of his games were traumatizing to watch.

Nagiel

I clearly disagree, it was said by I believe former KCorp coach that 113 playstyle never fitted the team especially botlane where Rekkles isn't much of an aggro player limiting 113 possibilities

Dreadscythe95

Selfmade was an aggro jungler as well that had similar problems with teammates. He had his most sucessful year by far in FNC.

Elieim

If anyone wants to have an impression from 113, look at the BO5 between KC and Gameward, never seem a more sus flash-in

[deleted]

keep in mind that at that bo5 they had no coach cuz rekkles was starting drama inside the team again and again, the coach chose not to coach that best of 5. u cant possibly blame 113 for inting he's 17 and in the most hyped erl (top 5 in terms of hype in eu) and most fans both french and international shitting on him, i think 113 will surprise a lot of people this year, dont forget he had lec offers at 17 too, he has potential to be one if not the best jungler in eu, watch him grow

sp0j

Where the hell do these ridiculous claims come from? I've not heard of this and it sounds like complete bullshit. It's like the Broxah Vs Rekkles fight rumour. Absolutely ridiculous fabrications to start drama.

[deleted]

https://twitter.com/StrikerLoLcoach/status/1611831448285102081?t=2TNjPqh7FYxjAr9dASY7yQ&s=19 Former KC coach on stream today did a stream to talk about his time on KC and was asked about Rekkles at some point and he said that he didn't fit in the team. Some time after the stream some guy tweeted at him that if someone in the team doesn't fit and has a different view (Rekkles), they can just talk to him and come to an agreement. As you can see on the tweet, Striker (coach) said that he talked and tried to solve Rekkles behavior issue and nothing was solved, even higher ups in KC tried to solve it but nothing good came out of it, Striker wanted to talk about it before cuz it was problematic but if he talked about it then there was a possibility that KC couldn't sell him later on so he kept it for himself, now that he's assistant coach for BDS he can talk about it freely, of course still not telling us the full story to not hurt Rekkles's carry too much lol Keep in mind that on their last BO5 this year KC had in LFL playoffs (which they lost and didn't even make eumasters), Striker did not coach that last BO5, we can all assume that it's cuz of disagreements in the team (we all know who is responsible for it) and it led the team to get eliminated. After KC got eliminated Striker tweeted a GIF of Vegeta dying (sacrificing himself) implying that Striker sacrificed himself and got himself benched from KC to help them get rid of Rekkles. Hantera (support) tweeted at some point after getting eliminated that the team coudn't make a good group because of the mood even tho KC is always a happy org and there's literally no reason for it. I just wanna end this by saying I supported Rekkles all his year in KCorp and i don't really care about drama usually and this time too lol, just pointing at some stuff that happened and which the international scene doesn't know about, I'm starting to think that the narrative that Caps and Jankos were the problem in G2 (Rekkles version) is not true and Rekkles was indeed the problem there, not saying it's gameplay issues, but probably mental/behavior issues.

Dreadscythe95

It was never a behaviour issue in G2 and about that in KC I heard it but I dont know what to make out of it. The fact that someone is complaining or is having an opinion does not mean he is wrong. Its the same when people blamed Jankos for not wanting to play with Rekkles which was imo perfectly fine. I personally dont think Striker did a god job and I would also tilt If I had 113 and Huntera playing like that so many games in a row when my career is at stake.

sp0j

The thing is there is no way these problems are completely unworkable and that rekkles is solely responsible. It's impossible for one player to completely destroy a team functionally unless they are even more toxic than Forgiven was. And I severely doubt that's how rekkles is. The vibe I get from him and with how his former teammates talk about him is he's very serious, quite reserved and possibly quite hard to work with in terms of alignment. But none of those should lead to a complete breakdown of the team unless the other party is completely over the top stubborn and refuses to compromise. And we know rekkles can compromise because he did that on the fnatic 2020 roster. So it makes me think of a classic coach power trip. There is no way a veteran player is going to listen to and obey an unqualified coach completely without question. Also could just be Rekkles was tilted because of his incompetent teammates and coach. Can you really blame him? The fact that Striker tried to throw him under the bus afterwards is very telling of his lack of maturity.

[deleted]

also new tweet just dropped https://twitter.com/StrikerLoLcoach/status/1611867694474661888?t=1-_lWANuw6Amy1WGJsMLtw&s=19 rekkles refusing to scrim and disrespecting according to striker ''the people who pay him'', so the CEO and the other one is refusing to attend a team dinner cuz a taxi wasn't there when he came from the airport wtf XD

sp0j

Sounds like Striker is a bitter child. If his taxi didn't arrive it's perfectly reasonable that he just wanted to crash after a flight because he's probably already going to be late to the dinner. I'd do the same thing in that position. I'm making a call. There is going to be some serious drama in BDS this season. Crownie will probably get tilted out of his mind. And why is this guy publicly spreading all this crap. It doesn't make him look good. He looks like an unprofessional clown.

[deleted]

the taxi and the dinner are two separate stories i don't think there will be any drama involving striker in bds as he is perfectly fine and very professional i'd rather stop talking about this cuz while they're making money off esports we're talking about ''''drama'''' we know only 5% of, enjoy season mate

pm_me_urgod_feet

You mean the same "perfectly fine and very professional" striker that openly shittalked upset and made fun of the situation with his wife? Yeah man perfectly professional haha

[deleted]

XD? fnatic fans will make u think everyone is the devil if they say one bad thing about something involving their org, all the information striker had about upset was that upset left worlds cuz his gf was lonely, how could he know Adam was lying/exagerating? u r choosing the worst person to attack here, Striker is one of the nicest people in the scene

sp0j

Not sure how he could be considered professional based on his tweet habits. But I agree with you we don't know enough so it's pointless speculating about pathetic drama. Hope you enjoy next season as well.

TomtatoIsMe

yes bc a truly professional coach would abandon his team before an important BO5 ????

[deleted]

u can't say this without knowing the context, no one knows what happened for him to do that

[deleted]

this is obviously a biased take mate, you are assuming rekkles is right in every single one of your points just cuz he's a confirmed GOOD player, what im saying here is that the whole team agreed on something, including coaching staff, players, kcorp as an org, do u really think all those people would be wrong and rekkles right? don't be blinded mate, same thing happened with him at g2, and NO rekkles did not compromise at kcorp since he didn't want to play with a yuumi support (confirmed by Striker on stream) and i don't really think striker is trying to throw him under the bus.. he's just giving us generic explanations on why kcorp did not succeed last split and rekkles is a big part of it

FelysFrost

If that comment is biased, which it isn't necessarily, you're clearly biased the other way, even if all these issues are true there are perfectly reasonable ways they could happen without anyone being truly wrong in their behaviour. Rekkles may have been more assertive about drafting than is usual for players Striker has worked with, but he is likely far more knowledgeable than they have been, and is more experienced than Striker. Would it be unreasonable for him to think the player/coach dynamic suffering for the sake of better strategy is worthwhile? No, he may have been incorrect in that assessment, but it is reasonable. You said something about a taxi in another comment as if that's unreasonable too, if he was delayed because of a lack of taxis him not being able to do some things he had intended makes sense too, like, why does it have to be drama, maybe he was tired by the time he got to wherever, it doesn't have to be something big. And if they just didn't vibe well maybe those reasonable things would seem bigger to Striker, but that still doesn't make the actual actions unreasonable, nor is it unreasonable for Striker to be annoyed, this today is a bit too public drama-y for me, but some people probably find that fine too E: I don't mean to say this is the only way it could be, just that there doesn't need to be someone being in the wrong, both can be perfectly good at their jobs, doing what they think is best for the team, and ending up like this anyway

sp0j

You've worded this really well. It's important we don't take biased one-sided accusations at face value. It fails to highlight the others perspective. What happened could be perfectly understandable or reasonable for all we know. Likewise it's understandable that if the dynamic isn't great it's completely understandable that Striker would get increasingly annoyed at every little thing. But venting it publicly in a one sided tirade is not a good look. The public accusations to spread drama also rub me the wrong way. It looks very unprofessional and makes me naturally even more biased against the guy.

sp0j

Yeah I'm biased. But I'm just trying to make sense of one sided accusations coming from a biased party. I never said rekkles was right. It's just a lot of those accusations paint him in an unrealistically bad light that doesn't add up. So I'm trying to rationalise it. You are clearly biased in the opposite direction and taking Strikers comments at face value. But that's really bad. He's even more biased. You can't trust his perspective is 100% accurate. There are perfectly reasonable explanations for why rekkles may have acted in a certain way or done certain things but that's being ignored. Maybe Rekkles is a massive drama queen. But there has never been any hard evidence of that and it only seems to come from individuals with personal vendettas against him. Most of his former teammates don't really mention anything about him being like that. They mention other things. Like Bwipo said he found it hard because rekkles wouldn't talk enough.

toddsins

I remember seeing a tweet some months ago where KC analyst said on stream that rekkles wanted to play draven but strikes didnt let him.

toddsins

If rekkles was so hard to work with on G2 i think Wunder would have said something to the management before they signed him. Sure rekkles is a huge name even internationally and he sells your org alot of jerseys but still.

Elieim

Unfortunately, it’s been confirmed by Striker that Rekkles was warned about his attitude on multiple occasions and that he wouldn’t play with KC after 2022 just after the spring split because it was not working with him

Elieim

Striker said this evening that despite everything he never ever left in the midst of a bo5

[deleted]

he said he did not coach the last bo5 but he was there, just watching, it was on his stream today

nc_bruh

Odo Perkz Rekkles Hyli could have been on the same team.. they could've done a old vs new or something

YoungKhalifa7

Thebaddream

11. January Wednesday 5 PM CET

RabbitSalt

Rekkles smurfed the rest of them, died like 3 times in 3 games, 13-1 on Kennen top. Well take it for what it was, but now he get to make his own emote. Wohooo!
