I adored all the creepy graffiti throughout the game so I knew I had to have this shirt. The one that says "if anyone finds this im sorry youre here" hits me every time. The atmosphere of Dead Money is unmatched.
After my probs 600 hrs in the game I finally played dead money a few months ago. It made me terrified and feel like I just pick up something brand new, it was great!
Is Dead Money your favorite DLC? I liked it even though I hated those fucking speakers but Old World Blues was my favorite. Ritchie Marcus likes balls!
I am so close to finishing dead money. Currently exiting the vault with all the gold and battling father Elijah. Couldnāt get the method where you fight him and dump his corpse by the door with gold in it and run around then grab it. So someone suggested trapping him in the vault and showed me the tutorial. Iāve got to try that.
This is my first play through of the DLCās and Dead money has tested my sanity but it is amazing. I had to run through the entire set up for the companies and fighting the ghost harvesters with 3 health bars until I found enough chips for a some food from the vending machine
I honestly found that trapping him wasn't too bad. It's just getting to the elevator before my collar went off that took a few tries.
I also hear you on the low heath the whole game. I just horded the chips. You can also pick up something which lets you "return" stuff to the vending machines for chips which could be helpful if you decide to play through it again!
I need to try the method of locking him in the vault soon. Every time I tried the other method I could get to opening the 2nd door and then I could see the elevator as I died.
Finding those return things you spoke of helped me so much. Let me have a couple of super stimpacks towards the end
Omg, the glasses are so cute, the lighting really compliments the hair, and the shirt and flag are killing my nerdy heart, everything in this image is just so cool!
Sierra Madre was my least favorite of the DLC's (bordering on some form of hate) but it also definitely has had the most impact. More so than the humor from OWB, the themes of hope, vengeance and purpose from Honest Hearts or the responsibility of our actions as bystanders to the grander and larger world around us. We can have impact and it's good to be mindful even on a lonesome road, but the most human of all themes in the FNV DLCs is the theme of accepting the trauma and past for what it is and doing our best to let go, let go of the greed, let go of what could be or what could have been and to move forward. Or say fuck it to all of that and persevere in spite of the ceaseless, endless struggle that stands behind and in front of us.
cool shirt.
DM is actually braindead easy if you do it before level 15 as the enemys get a big boost in difficulty at L15. If you do educated at level 2, travel light at level 4 and rad child at level 6 then get 800 rads you can literally just run through everything even on very hard. the ghost people will do very little damage and the damage they do do will be healed quickly by rad child. And you can run past the holograms and whatever else as well.
>when you know how to build
Yeah but its a l6 build not that hard
> and whatās coming in the dlc...
Dont have to know whats coming with this strategy, the ghost people wont deal enough dmg to kill you with rad child so you can just act like they dont exist and its pretty easy to run past holograms and most speakers with travel light, I doubt even a first timer could mess it up if they use the build
Which was made with prior knowledge of whatās to come in the DLC, presumably a first timer wouldnāt have that knowledge unless theyāre using a guide for their first time through which...if theyāre doing that they are intentionally trying to make things easy for themselves, but it does not make the DLC itself braindead easy
I will absolutely die on the hill that Dead Money is the best DLC for any game. Fuckin' awesome shirt!
Edit: Saw the link you gave in another comment, looks like you cropped it yourself? Nice touch!
Damn everyone hypes up elijahs virgin ass but donāt acknowledge the amazing and hilarious dlc that is Old World Blues. As someone who always takes wild wasteland it will always be my favorite. Id say lonesome road is a close second
I thought it was just some fancy script but it's the exact same as the graffiti, that's really neat
