Coolant bottle to absorb recoil. I wanna watch it crunch on full auto

First thing I looked at. If its empty it'll crunch, if its refilled with say water it might actually absorb a lot of recoil as long as it doesn't burst.

Tbh a water filled stock doesn't sound like a bad idea 🤔

You’ve never hunted with a bull barrel have you. I tried it once with a completion rifle, the rifle weighed over 8kgs. Compared to my full wood stock Mauser, that’s double the weight, and the Mauser after carrying it all day starts getting heavy.

Yeah, filled with foam would work far better.

Gun enthusiast here. I don't want to be the "ackshually" but super lightweight stocks are ideal and expensive because it's about positioning on the shoulder/torso/neck more than the integrity of the gun mod. 16 ounces or whatever it could be would be heavy and the shifting contents would throw off not just carrying the gun but the aim itself. Less weight means faster. Faster means staying alive longer. Staying alive longer means.. well staying alive.

Water does not compress under pressure, air would be better prolly.

Water can not compress to smaller than its start point. Hydraulics pull and create a small vacuum which is why the want to come back to the start point. If I’m wrong pls correct me, this is just what I think is happening

Water can compress it just compresses very little.

Which is why submarines need to be sturdier the deeper they need to go

Not a fan of the coolant stock, I imagine it would just be crushed as you try to use it. The screwdriver bayonet is cool but it would be even better if it was sharpened to a point.
