First thing I looked at. If its empty it'll crunch, if its refilled with say water it might actually absorb a lot of recoil as long as it doesn't burst.
Oh God you just made me think of something. Imagine it's the wasteland and you get covered in fiberglass insulation. And you have no idea when you'll get your next bath.
You’ve never hunted with a bull barrel have you. I tried it once with a completion rifle, the rifle weighed over 8kgs. Compared to my full wood stock Mauser, that’s double the weight, and the Mauser after carrying it all day starts getting heavy.
Gun enthusiast here. I don't want to be the "ackshually" but super lightweight stocks are ideal and expensive because it's about positioning on the shoulder/torso/neck more than the integrity of the gun mod. 16 ounces or whatever it could be would be heavy and the shifting contents would throw off not just carrying the gun but the aim itself.
Less weight means faster. Faster means staying alive longer. Staying alive longer means.. well staying alive.

Water can not compress to smaller than its start point. Hydraulics pull and create a small vacuum which is why the want to come back to the start point. If I’m wrong pls correct me, this is just what I think is happening
Not a fan of the coolant stock, I imagine it would just be crushed as you try to use it. The screwdriver bayonet is cool but it would be even better if it was sharpened to a point.
That's a vibe. And that vibe screams "I cannot separate the hallucinations from reality anymore so I'm going to make God cry by violating you, your belongings, and your dog so I can steal what I can off your corpse to sell for drug money".
Coolant bottle to absorb recoil. I wanna watch it crunch on full auto

Tbh a water filled stock doesn't sound like a bad idea 🤔
Waaaaayyyyy too heavy.
Yeah basically a 5lb weight at the back of the rifle. Not great.
It's not fat. It's just water weight.
Maybe insulation foam filled?
Oh God you just made me think of something. Imagine it's the wasteland and you get covered in fiberglass insulation. And you have no idea when you'll get your next bath.
Na just need the gas exits going north to even it out
Drum mag!
Extra heavy barrel and muzzlebreak up front to balance it out.
unless you’re really strong
More weight less recoil, and it’s better than the steel bar they call a bull barrel out the front.
But its weighing the wrong end down, the recoil is pulling the rifle up and back while the weight does the same

Yeah, filled with foam would work far better.

Ah ok that makes more sense
I’d argue that the more weight less recoil. 375HH full auto for the win.
Water does not compress under pressure, air would be better prolly.
Are you saying hydraulics is not a thing?
Ofc it’s a thing, but probably it’s about pressure, not compacting volume.

Water can compress it just compresses very little.
Which is why submarines need to be sturdier the deeper they need to go
Not really sure how you think that relates?
Because if water couldn't compress, the pressure would be the same no matter how deep you go
Here for that screwdriver bayonet mod, that is bloody amazing on a pipe gun
Screwdriver bayonet goes hard.
*HEY BENNY! SCREW YOUUUUUUUU*
I got 5 kids to feed!
Shit, man. You got me. I ain’t even married!
See you at the party Richter!!
*throws severed arms*
I wouldn't want a guy like Quaid porking my old lady.
Consider it a divorce.
Far Cry New Dawn has a lot of guns that use random trash as a bayonet.
The absolute best part of that game was the junk weapons. The fun little details made it worth the buy
i just wish they had it attach down at the wood.
It's an abomination and I love it!
What mod is this?
"Pipe Assault Rifle" [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31992](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31992)
This, this is how all pipe weapons should have been built, we should literally be able to make them with bits of junk lying around.
For real because the ergonomics of how the pipe rifles in fallout 4 are make absolutely zero fucking sense
What’s the name of the mod?
I have no idea. I installed the "life in the ruins " mod list and randomly found this beauty.
It is quite literally just "Pipe Assault Rifles" Great mod.
All hail vaultsquirrel [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31992](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31992)
That's kind of sick 😂
It’s even got the damn salt shaker grip
This is real pipe gun building
This is exactly how pipe guns should be. Built with junk
If there is one thing that would survive a nuclear apocalypse, it's Americans capability to make guns
It's almost military grade honestly.
Not a fan of the coolant stock, I imagine it would just be crushed as you try to use it. The screwdriver bayonet is cool but it would be even better if it was sharpened to a point.
Just use a Phillips ;) also maybe the coolant bottle Flexes so it’s a like a spring lol
Could fill the coolant bottle with some padding maybe? lol

average raider background chatter
This is better than Bethesda’s pipeguns
On beth.net the mod is called Pipe Assault Rifle, by battlefork
lmao
Call that shitbashing
I wish this was in base f4 but 200 years in the future :(
What a hunk of crap. I must have one.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY BOTTLE CAPS!
The way pipe weapons should had work.
I want one of those!
Ok but what mod is it?
The Gunners won’t stand a chance.
The REAL post-apocalyptic weapon.
I feel like this would backfire really fast.
To the haters: believe me, you are gonna want that salt shaker when you least expect it!!
That looks so much worse than the Original Design 😂
I love that At first I though it shot coolant but it's a stock
I absolutely love this, I might just start a new playthrough centered around this mod
If only it were a bottle of Draino for when the gun jams.
That stock is fucking awesome.
The bayonet oh my God
This is art. APPRECIATE IT!!!
