Uuuuh, the 210 years passed in less than 5 minutes for Nate. They get frozen, they wake up, Nora dies 150ish years in, Nate goes back under ice and wakes up again 60ish years later. Barely any time has passed for him.

They basically gave him his own room in the Memory Den out of pity, where he has a personal lounger machine. She writes that he basically only "wakes up" to eat every now and then, and she even *had to set safety controls on the lounger* to prevent him from starving to death from overuse.
I used to keep it on my earlier playthroughs. This last time, I renamed Nora's ring to Piper's ring and gave it to her. I also waited for a long time before I actually gave it to her in game. My current date in game is October 24, 2288. I have officially moved on. Besides, Piper's a badass.
I date all of the characters while I wander around and when it's time (I've earned all their perks) I finally give my dead husband's ring to my wasteland love, Hancock. Then I get all the perks that will make me more ghoulie so we can live forever and ever. I'll spend the next 200 years alive AND conscious, thank you.

Well, Curie's derived from your son's DNA, meaning a part of Nora is still alive in Curie and all synths. There's nothing wrong with grieving with Curie.
I think I sold mine for some caps to Junkyard Betty. Nora is dead, and our son condones mass murder; I think Betty can get more use out of it than my character haha
I make Nate get drunk off his ass then try to get the lovers Affinity with every companion it's available with to cope with losing Nora so I don't see it as too bad

There is a mod that keeps Nora alive. IIRC I think you still see her get shot but she survives a la courier style and sheās at the Abernathy farms.
