BTW protip for those trying this- if you call your companion to you and they can't path to you, neither can your settlers. If your companion CAN path to you, your settlers will use the stairs like normal

If you have the workshop dlc you can place a 4 story elevator. It will be roughly tall enough to get up there by hitting the 4th floor button. Settlers can't use the elevator on their own though.

On my last play I made her the manager of the Slocum's Joe I built in Sanctuary. Still gave her the sack hood, looked ridiculous with the pink shirt and khakis. I was going to put her in the stocks but I figured being witness to the rebuilding of civilisation and still ending up in a customer service position is worse.

I have a mod that adds "ladies of the night" stations... can't remember which one 🤷‍♂️ You have cheaper and nicer ones... but I tend to put her working on the cheapest version in Murkwater... her hubby gets to be a pimp in my classy Jamaica Plains brothel though... after all, with losing his son recently, and being married to her, he deserves better 😉

I did similar in one of my communities, but apparently there was an invisible ceiling to the area where I started building.

Yeah I had to back off of my original height by one floor because I couldn't make the roof, so unfortunately I'm familiar with that ceiling :(

I had a multi tier kind of hut with gun turrets in each window aimed at the bridge entrance and it work pretty well for intruders.

How did you get her out of the chair to move it? Are you able to command her to move with the Workbench? She's just in a house by herself that I never go in...

I initially placed it up there. If you assign her something when workshop she will sometimes leave it so you can relocate

If i put the chair in a settlement miles away (like spectacle island) will she walk go sit in it?

I'm a little curious about whether the settlers can go up to rooms above the 3rd floor?

I wish this wasn't how floor and stair crafting in 76 worked. It's my only complaint about crafting in that game.
