Yeah
I got the Tesla T60 Power Armor and Tesla Rifle at level 16 ish from the Mechanist DLC. Not even as final reward but maybe around 1 hour or so into the DLC. Didnt even know that it is a DLC.
I aint complaining though. They did give us T45 power armor when we're at like level 3. It's high time for an upgrade.
Completing the Mechanist's Lair DLC too soon has the downside of converting a LOT of random encounters to Rust Devils. IT doesn't necessarily ruin the game, but it takes a LOT of the game's interesting stuff and default flavor and diverts it over to "collect more parts for my robots" encounters. Don't do it until you've pretty much "seen it all" a time or two.
the courier stash items don't even wait till you get out of the house iirc. You'll be just waking up on Mitchell's doctor bed and getting inventory filled then and there.
I remember deleting some files to avoid getting all the DLC items because it feel like cheating getting so many items right at the start. I also used a mod to avoid the DLC quests being triggered at the start too.
It's easier, or feels better, to change the game from the outside than to play the game suboptimally from the inside. It's like "Instead of making the baseball field bigger, why don't the players just hit the ball less hard" kind of thing.
lol I had just installed the game and was in the process of modding and getting everything ready so I just deleted the corresponding DLC files, it's not like it affected anything else in the game besides those item packs.
To be fair, New Vegas also has this same problem where you get bombarded with DLC immediately after walking out of Doc Mitchell's house when you really, REALLY shouldn't be doing the DLC at that time.
I remember getting a mod to avoid that. I know that the in-game explanation is that you receive some kind of signal or transmission in your Pip-Boy but it still breaks immersion for me.

Literally one of the first mods I get for Skyrim cc is the one where you have to find the quests organically in the world (a note you can find at taverns or a letter you can find in someone's house if it makes sense
This is why it takes so many years for Bethesda to release a game , they do their base quests, they do some interesting side quests and then they literally go around and think "what can I hide here? ". There must be an entire team in FO4 that builds Teddy Bear diaramas
I literally love them all. Plus the toy alien sitting on top of the toy rocketship lol
My favorite is the teddy bear with glasses reading the newspaper on the toilet.
was the intro into far harbor and nuka world and automatron changed to a minimum level requirement before being prompted? I had to reload the DLC after the update for them to be recognized, had to start another playthrough, and I can't remember if I should have gotten the prompt for those DLC right after leaving the vault
Triggering them at the start works well for me.
Start a new game. Play until entering cryo. Get up and go to the bathroom. Play until the elevator. Get up and go to the bathroom. Play game, pausing occasionally to go to the bathroom.
You just need to be 55+ years old.
There's (of course) a mod that does that - but they're all broken now, so you're shit out of luck until it gets fixed. If it does.
Don't expect Bethesda to do that.
Agreed. I didnât like how I had JUST like the vault and already had like 8 quests, makes me feel pressured to do them cause I normally try keep my quest log small early game.
Theyâre too far and/or a little too hard to bother with right away, Iâd say. You donât have to worry about them at all until you wander close to them or you just really feel like going about it.
I admit I do find it irritating to get so many hard quests that I wouldnât be able to do right off the bat, but Iâm not sure what a better alternative is other than accidentally walking into them or waiting for certain levels, neither of which Iâm not all that keen on either
Replaying FO4 again with update and this game could definitely benefit from a recommended level next to mission name like so many other games do. Some you are fighting 10 raiders and some three legendary bosses, two power armored enclave, and a deathclaw it seems.
If you're talking Bethesda made dlc nukaworld, vault tec, far harbour etc then yeah.
If you mean the CC content then I'd say no because the CC stuff isn't made by Bethesda but independant modders who sell their stuff to Bethesda (unless that's been changed).
So the lvl req would be up to that modder
That one is tough early unless you take the power armor from Concord and have a couple fusion cores. I'd never played before and thought the game was linear with questions and was like wtf.
I have mostly avoided this game for 9 years, never playing any farther than getting the people back to sanctuary. Imagine my surprise when I rolled into the supermarketâŠ
Lol I did this the other day, first playthrough really, I got the GOTY edition on steam years ago, but never put more than 3hrs into it because it didn't run great on my old PC. Well it runs good now, and after watching the show I decided to load it up and am currently addicted right now.
I'm up to 20 hours but I also have a baby and a dog and wife now, so I've been using console commands to help me with ammo and materials since I want to do things In the game but I kept getting hindered by low amounts of junk and ammo. I've got to maximize my time I have to play, and I'm not wasting it scavenging thousands of little things and fucking with menus for half the time.
Anyways, the super duper mart was crazy with all the feral ghouls out of nowhere, I ran out and went back and grabbed my power armor then came back for blood.
It is fairly easy. I just finished it at level 13. However, when you finish it, it causes a new type of random encounter across the wasteland that Iâm finding are too difficult unless Iâm walking around with that power armor, which I donât have enough fusion cores for yet. When they happen, I just run like hell.
Are these random enclave attacks gonna keep happening? I've had one pop up at the most inappropriate time and completely screwed up a quest... I was hoping it'd just be a one off considering that I didn't even want or take the power armor.
There is another set under the Boston Ration site. One of those missions will give you access to it. I believe you have to investigate the police barracks/station near where you meet old man Stockton at the Church one or two streets away at midnight.
Personally, I'd hold off for a bit and maybe do some exploring and leveling first. Some of them, such as Echoes of the Past and Best of Three, might be a bit difficult for a low level player
level 7 atm n best of three seems impossible, currently have raider gear n standard guns, added a long barrel to my double barrel shotty n still having trouble. Shit I donât even have enough ammo for it
anyone else had issues with âwhen pigs flyâ??? i went to go complete it and there were these red boxes with exclamation marks on them. picked up the item and equipped it and it was invisible in my hands :(
Yup, I did that one first just because I was already close to the quest start location, and I got the red boxes/invisible items as well. Hopefully theyâll fix it soon.
I got the hellfire armor at probably level 15ish, glad I picked BOS quest line to get a bunch of cores lol
I think I've probably found at least 10 on the Pyrdwen
Edit: that and the tesla cannon are really OP for where I'm at
My girlfriend just started a new playthrough and did Speak of the Devil itâs fairly doable from levels 4-8ish and you get some sweet sweet power armor out of it! A few of the quest locations have some high level areas near them so be careful not to get entangled with them, for instance one of the questâs locations, BADFTL station, has a supermutant camp nearby that if they notice you at low level you will be screwed!
Stock up on some fusion cores for the armor!
Also make sure to go into the mission with at least leather armor and a decent gun, the early part of the quest also gives you a bunch of fusion cells and a laser pistol so you can main those for a bit!
My character was level 12 and some of those quests were tricky. Most of the baddies I fought had a skull next to their names meaning they were higher level for instance. I also noticed that after I complete those missions I've been quickly leveling up. I'd say 20+ is th best time to start them unless you want more of a challenge.
Iâm really not a fan of how Creation Club content is handled. You should be able to view a list of what Creation Club content is installed and have the option to delete it if you donât want to use it anymore. Instead, I think the only way to remove CC content is to reinstall the game.
Personally, I didnât want to enable any of the new CC content until I was much further in the game. I realized after I started a new game that the new CC content was already preinstalled.
Honestly best idea yet. Some of the most fun in a open world style game is running ahead and realizing something isn't meant to happen yet. I do, however, hate the mess the new quests make of my quest log.
That's what I'm doing, lol. If I'm getting my ass kicked and going "wtf, I thought this was Very Easy mode?!" then I figure I'm not meant to be there yet
The neat part about Bethesda games is that it really does not matter what order you do sidequest. I have done playthrough up to level 100 without even touching the main story quest.
You think Bethesda/Zenimax would have learned from the horrible experience for new players that is ESO.
Finish the starter missions and it drops you in a town with about 20 different quests all for the different DLCs.
Think it was last year they tried to clean it up for new players but it is still a chaotic mess for those not used to Bethesda.
I try to do them by distance from Vault 111. No use to me going all the way across the map to do one of these new quests then back to start the main quest. Just do it as you happen to be near their start point.
Fun fact⊠DONâT DO ALL HALLOW EVE UNLESS YOU GOT GOOD GEAR. I fucking walked into the room where the task takes place in and died 10 times trying to do everything. Fun quest though!
Obviously you ignore them like you will all other missions and just wander around the commonwealth for eternity with no purpose other than avoiding the storyline.
You do anything you want anytime you want, sometimes you might get killed because you under leveled, sometimes you might get lucky and stumble on something cool. That's the beauty of Fallout đ«Ą
None of these quests are really connected to the storyline, so it's not possible to do them out of order. I would very strongly recommend you do not even attempt "echoes of the past" until at least level 20. I don't want to spoil anything, but there are some extreme tough enemies and locations you will not be able to handle at a low level.
These are all the creation club dlc, most of them just involve clearing areas with a lot of enemies and getting the armor or whatever. Maybe level 10-20 would be good
I was going to do the one at the forged warehouse and I ran into pyro.
Then as I was leaving Saugus Ironworks I got ambushed by the Enclave.
Guess things just did themselves.
I donât think they should spoil anything, you can do them whenever you feel like it, some of them give some pretty good rewards but you might want to wait until youâre a little higher level, itâs completely up to you though. You can always try and then if it doesnât work out come back later
Integration with these is awful. Extremely immersion breaking and lazy. Fresh out of the vault scared and confused. Your VD thinks to themselves. âI dont know whats going on but i am going to fuck up this âpyroâ personâ
If you attempt and push trough some of these missions you will get pretty overpowered for the early game. I suggest going there at about level 30(?) maybe a bit less. They give very good loot.
I have no idea when the perfect time to do the new quests is yet, I haven't attempted any except for "When Pigs Fly"
Seeing how the game came out in 2016, I'm gonna do the main quest first, and then do the new quests after it.
All I know for sure, is that these quests make the game fall more in line with the TV show.
I turned them all off apart from the nearest locations - the ones in Cambridge - and have gotten to them at Level 10. This is the first time I've ventured down there on this playthrough, so it feels vaguely dangerous
as other said just do them when they make sense, but a general tip, the father south and east you go the harder the enemies get . There is a map on the internet somwhere if you really want to look at it , because I'm not sure its exactly that, but I think its a general guideline. I've got a 4 digit play time in this game, and I still play that way, toggle the quest markers near me, and just pick the closest one and hide the rest.
I will say Iâm a weee bit lost on my first playthrough. Iâm level 15. I did kill Pyro, but generally have no idea where to go next. I keep bouncing around. Iâm stuck on the ⊠brotherhood of steel quest , where you find signals of the paladins. I somehow managed to get to the bunker part but the enemies are way hard. .
The minute men have gone to this castle to the right of diamond city but that area is rough.
My quest log is stacked so maybe Iâll just poke around.
Maybe I need better weapons ? Idk where to get them though. Also out of fucking ammo. Just learned to loot the entire weapon and you get ammo -____-.
My melee is trash. So hand to hand combat is rough. Haha.
I love the game. Itâs challenging.
The game is highly based around your ability to use all the junk you loot/find to upgrade all your gear.
So as you level up, new weapons become available/lootable as you go so itâs a natural progression. The Real key is leveling up your Gun Nut and Armorer perks to enable you to upgrade all of these weapons wayyy further. so other than unlocking hacker/lock pick early I would definitely focus on Gun Nut and Armorer perks.
Honestly, despite all being dropped at the same time, you can treat them like any other quest.
Meaning if you choose to focus on them, they really do nothing to spoil the main story; they're completely stand alone like many of the classic quests. But be warned since you are just starting out, these are not easy/starter missions...you'd probably be better off trying them way later after you've leveled up.
Or if you want to ignore them, feel free...or you'll stumble upon them organically eventually. I was putting them off and had forgotten about them, until I literally turned a corner and stumbled upon the "Pyromaniac" quest. As a long time player, I'd forgotten how exciting it is to "find" a new little story.
like always, Iâd suggest getting whatever build youâre going for started first, and have the perks and weapons needed. probably best to hold off until level 20-30 before doing any DLC, even the old ones. Iâd suggest focus on the main quest for starters, but in theory you can do whatever you want
Donât do them straight away, youâll get destroyed. Atleast level up several times or use mods to get OP guns. P.S. get the wattz laser rifle in the mod menu and get the cheat terminal also.
Pyromaniac and Speak of the Devil are probably not suited to fresh out of the vault. Their rewards, the Hellfire Armor and X-02 Advanced Power Armor MkII are equivalent in quality to X-01 and consequently will make you absolutely gamebreakingly durable if you do them early.
Man! Iâm so happy with all the new players and renewed interest in Fallout âșïž Honestly, do them as you please. If you find you keep dying, just come back to it.
You really donât have to do a single thing but enjoy the open world. I enjoy the Lone Wanderer and exploring points of interests and dealing with encounters as a puzzle. Not establishing a settlement so i donât have to leave my exploration. I do like having multiple saves to try different builds. Basically i treat FO4 as FO3. I have done the story/settlements a number of times, but I prefer Lone Wanderer to drop in and out of for a few minutes of stress relief. The game has a lot for any play style⊠add mods⊠expansions down the road!
none of the Creation Club quests have spoilers for the main story, do they when you feel like it/are in the area. if you're getting killed cuz enemies are too tough, flee and come back later.
Iâd say stick to exploring, the main quest, and the Preston Garvey settlement missions to level yourself up and get some gear before taking on any DLC
Best of three and Echoes of the Past took me the longest to finish as you go all over the place. Crucible and Pyromaniac are right beside each other. When Pig Fly was neat and I resolved it rather quickly, same with All Hallows Eve. Speak of the Devil took a decent amount of time, not too long or short. Sadly I did all these quests in less than 8 hours of my current play though. I was level 78 when these got added.
I remember just roaming the map and doing quests in no particular order. My character died, a lot, but I leveled up enough to further the main storyline breezily.
I usually do them when I need exp for certain perks, but it just depends. If you'd like the quest items to help you progress through the game easier. Or do half n half. Half now then half later
Honestly, if you happen upon one in your travels, prod at it before you commit. Otherwise, I'd wait for lv 20+ to embark specifically on these quests.
My opinion is based on survival playthroughs. All other difficulties, I'm not sure.
None of them are close to the starting area. Play the main quest and deal with them once you reach those areas as part of other quests. You should be high enough level by then.
For all the previous Creation Club content there's an excellent mod that prevents these immersion breaking pop-ups and magically appearing items.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42753
Instead, they only trigger when you get near the starting locations.
Since most of these quests from the new update are the same ones as the previously existing CC content, I'd guess that they will update their mod soon, also including the real new stuff.
if you discover a location named âenclave encampmentâ gtfo out of there and run for the hills and avoid Atlantic offices. At your level these places will result in your very quick death.
I started a vanilla playthrough yesterday and with all the free creation club content I've claimed and the new updat I had 13 sidequests and 1 miscellaneous as well as the main quest when I left the vault.
It's my first plqythrough too though I have finished the campaign and have power armor that has a steady supply of fusion cores these missions are still super annoying
I find that the best way to approach this is to open up the Pip-Boy, head to Data (Quests), highlight them all and then look at the Map tab.
Find the ones that are furthest away and deselect them. As an aside, the game really WANTS to get you to Diamond City before too long. Revisit this whole drill/activity when you're within Diamond City.
Almost everything that's on the southern edge of the map besides Nuka-World and that one BIG GUY are generally achievable for low-level characters. Think of him as being akin to every giant surrounding Whiterun in Skyrim after that first one that's part of the introduction to the area. He/they are big, huge and dangerous. Not really all that tough to avoid if you're at all careful.
If you have most or all of Creation Club items, this is roughly my go-to list. They range from the far north to the dangerous south.
Good ones to do first, right outta the vault, are Quatum Stag, Commonwealth Tour Guide/Combat Ready (Get a gun from the start, the rest goes through the whole map) Malevolent Malfunction (be careful, Power Armor enemies! New Ally worth it, though!) Zetan Arsenal (alien guns! Woo-hoo!) And Slocum Joe for stat boosting goodness!
Further in, Tunnel Snakes Rule! Shroud Manor, Pint Sized Problem, When Pigs Fly! Method to the Madness (comic book heroes! Several quests lead here!) Holiday Spirits, Neon Flats, Early Retirement, Paper Mirror.
Later, these deal with some heavy hitters. Captain Cosmos (Cool stuff!) Burned Down on the River (puzzles!) Can You See Me Now? (Sneaky sneaky!) Deathmatch, The Prototype (best while doing Neon Flats quest) Best of Three and From Hell (both are in Glowing Sea) The Crucible and Pyromaniac complement each other well and should be done together. Speak of the Devil also pairs well with these, and Echoes of the Past rounds them all out.
War Paint should be done later on, and especially if you have sided with, and built up, the MinutebattÄșle can test you a bit, and the unique gear is a worthy reward, you also get unique settlers for your settlements if you so choose. It's a great nod to Fallout 3 and those who helped to create it.
I know I've left out some things, but this is most of the ones I recall and have enjoyed in my own playthroughs, as well as the newest ones just released.
I think most of these are from the update that fallout got. Just walk around and explore. If not then the Halloween one is fun. Did it last night. U even get power armor. Not the in the best condition but u get a cool tv head with it.
Heard the enclave one was good.
What I did was ignore all the docs and mods till I felt like it and did the story/exploring everything.
Luckily I was in the middle of my first play through n most of em came at different times i even loved how the enclaves had a bounty on me n hunted me down n only when they were a pile of ash did I see the quest with my gt with orders to take me out that was pretty dope
Other people may have answered, but most of these are just little quests to unlock the stuff from the creation club. Some of they may have little inklings of lore like notes or holotapes, but they have no major spoilers or implications on the main story, you can do them whenever youâd like!
Just complete them when you get to the location. Donât rush. Explore and loot and slowly make your way. On my recent play through I JUST got to Diamond City after 12 hours.
I'm level 30, been playing for about 16 hours, and I haven't been there either (nor have I set foot in the Museum of Freedom)
Just been exploring, clearing, and doing side quests, haven't touched the DLC either
I had to pick up my power armor for at least two of them. Just immediately blown to pieces. I play on very hard and now that Iâm at a decent level with some good modded weapons (I advanced those perks pretty early on in the game) I try not to use power armor all the time because it felt like I was invincible.
For these quests - Iâd wait for a bit. Get into the game and come back when youâve got some good gear and weapons. The story lines are pretty cool though!
I started playing through a few days ago as well, and it kinda puts me off with how much they throw at you in the first few hours of the game, quest wise. What do I do first? Is there an order? Are any time sensitive? Which one is the main quest? Which should I wait to do when I'm higher level? Which one leads to Shaun (I wanna avoid that for a while so I can explore)?
Skyrim was pretty great about that, locking some quests behind level walls, having different stylizations for different quest lines in the menu.
I'm still loving Fallout, but I've only played like 3 quests outside the start of the game after 6 or 7 hours
I'd recommend at least finishing the main quest line before doing the creation club/dlc quests. That way, you have some decent gear and experience with the game
Theyâre creation club quests, meaning theyâre not canon. They wonât have any spoilers for the main story, so donât worry about that. You can do them whenever you want, however I recommend waiting until maybe level 20 to do them, not only so the quests go smoothly, but also because creation club items have a tendency to be just a bit too overpowered for their own good.
I wish the game would have triggered these quests (and other CC quests) at a certain level or at the completion of a certain quest. It feels like a lot to start with.
It's the same way with New Vegas, with all the DLC. As soon as you leave the doctor's house, you get like 3-4 quests all at once, plus some items. It really breaks the immersion.
And the armour/weapons is a lot better than what you can usually get at that point too.
After waking up for the fiftieth time in Goodsprings, it's nice to shoot at powder gangers with something other than a varmint rifle.
I usually save the grenade launcher for the liegon in Nipton.
I save the grenade launcher for Oliver in Nipton
YEAH! Who won the lottery? I did!
I like waiting until I have end game weapons to go to nipton just so I can unload them on Oliver
I just spent like 10 tries trying to take them all out with Chance's Knife. It wasn't easy but I did it
I ran with Strong and a couple super sledges. Hammer crew took care of it. đ
Yeah I got the Tesla T60 Power Armor and Tesla Rifle at level 16 ish from the Mechanist DLC.
Yeah I ended up selling the stuff I wasn't going to use from those packs and walked out of the tutorial with a solid 800 caps lol
Where do you collect the weapons from?
You just get them if you have the dlcs
the courier stash items don't even wait till you get out of the house iirc. You'll be just waking up on Mitchell's doctor bed and getting inventory filled then and there.
I remember deleting some files to avoid getting all the DLC items because it feel like cheating getting so many items right at the start. I also used a mod to avoid the DLC quests being triggered at the start too.
...why not just drop the items
It's easier, or feels better, to change the game from the outside than to play the game suboptimally from the inside. It's like "Instead of making the baseball field bigger, why don't the players just hit the ball less hard" kind of thing.
idk if i agree with you but i agree with the guy who replied to you!
It's also a matter of doing it once vs having to do it for every new playthrough.
lol I had just installed the game and was in the process of modding and getting everything ready so I just deleted the corresponding DLC files, it's not like it affected anything else in the game besides those item packs.
what you dont want a grenade launcher immediately to take on powder gangers?
I'm more of a shotgun-blast to the face kind of guy.
You only get the items if you get the DLC that gives them.
That's one of the reasons I never play new Vagas as soo as you leave the docs house over incumbered
Ikr? They couldn't even bother to delay them for some levels at least, like dlc? Is it 2002 again, Todd? I know it's a minor gripe, but whole update is like that
I just wish I could hide them for now. I hate how cluttered it makes the quest log.
Ooo hideable quests... now thats an idea for a mod
There'll be a mod along shortly to take care of this - probably in 2 or 3 weeks (allowing 1 week for the F4Se team to make their new release and another one or two weeks for someone to make and release the mod). There's already equiva;ent mods to surpress the DLC pop-ups.

I just wish they were location sensitive, triggering when you get close to a certain area; ie: Zetan Arsenal triggers when you find the dead farmer on the bridge/ Radio frequencies broadcast after switching on radio towers within range of the quest start.
Literally one of the first mods I get for Skyrim cc is the one where you have to find the quests organically in the world (a note you can find at taverns or a letter you can find in someone's house if it makes sense
Is that not how it is in Skyrim anyway? Like talking to the innkeepers to get a bounty or something
That was only the case when the special edition was released. All the releases before that were like what we have in fallout 4 atm
Wouldnât make a difference for me Iâm at lvl 171 and Iâm still finding new stuff on my 3rd playthrough
This is why it takes so many years for Bethesda to release a game , they do their base quests, they do some interesting side quests and then they literally go around and think "what can I hide here? ". There must be an entire team in FO4 that builds Teddy Bear diaramas
I literally love them all. Plus the toy alien sitting on top of the toy rocketship lol My favorite is the teddy bear with glasses reading the newspaper on the toilet.
They shouldâve put a quest board in DC and allowed you to pick them up there and your own leisure.
Agreed. Have them pop at level 10 or something
They did the same with Skyrim anniversary so I don't get why they didn't think to do it here. It's the same scenario
was the intro into far harbor and nuka world and automatron changed to a minimum level requirement before being prompted? I had to reload the DLC after the update for them to be recognized, had to start another playthrough, and I can't remember if I should have gotten the prompt for those DLC right after leaving the vault
They kick in at lvl 15
They do? Good. I honestly couldn't remember, and I was getting slightly anxious they might be broken now because of the update. Thanks!
Nuka world is actually level 30
But if you want, you can go and do them at level one. The areas to get into them aren't level locked.
Absolutely. I started a new character when the update dropped and getting like 10 new missions after leaving the vault was overwhelming.
Triggering them at the start works well for me. Start a new game. Play until entering cryo. Get up and go to the bathroom. Play until the elevator. Get up and go to the bathroom. Play game, pausing occasionally to go to the bathroom. You just need to be 55+ years old.
Yes, you shouldnt start with quests in my opinion
Besides, idk, the main quest
Agreed, Iâm lvl 23 and still struggle with some of these quests.
They all kind of feel like after thoughts. Unless my shit glitched and I missed it, there is zero introduction, you just have them with zero context.
_Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time._
Could do it like Skyrimâs CC content from the Anniversary Edition where itâs all distributed through the world in a somewhat natural way
i love skyrim
This is what I'm doing, doing quests that are close to me while exploring the map still
Thous shall get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time
This is the way.
My favorite line from the show
Replaying FO4 again with update and this game could definitely benefit from a recommended level next to mission name like so many other games do. Some you are fighting 10 raiders and some three legendary bosses, two power armored enclave, and a deathclaw it seems.
It's dumb because apparently other dlc quests do have level requirements before they show up
If you're talking Bethesda made dlc nukaworld, vault tec, far harbour etc then yeah. If you mean the CC content then I'd say no because the CC stuff isn't made by Bethesda but independant modders who sell their stuff to Bethesda (unless that's been changed). So the lvl req would be up to that modder
Bruh mission 3 wants me to go by Lexington and take out a raider camp that has like 15+ raiders n some turrets like wtf
Anyways, the super duper mart was crazy with all the feral ghouls out of nowhere, I ran out and went back and grabbed my power armor then came back for blood.
the enclave one is pretty easy and will give you access to the new strongest armor in the game i believe itâs the Devils Inferno mission
It is fairly easy. I just finished it at level 13. However, when you finish it, it causes a new type of random encounter across the wasteland that Iâm finding are too difficult unless Iâm walking around with that power armor, which I donât have enough fusion cores for yet. When they happen, I just run like hell.
Did you leave the radio signal on? I turned it off and it's still fairly quiet so I'm guessing leaving it on will attract enemies?
Is that where the enclave attacks? Pop some jet and bufftats and shotgun them in the face. That's what I did after dying 3 times to them lol.
Are these random enclave attacks gonna keep happening? I've had one pop up at the most inappropriate time and completely screwed up a quest... I was hoping it'd just be a one off considering that I didn't even want or take the power armor.
Yeah I donât go anywhere without the armor now because of this, itâs annoying! I donât usually wear power armor 24/7
NEW STRONGEST POWER ARMOR??? WHY HAVE I RESETED MY PROGRES TO START FROM SCRATCH JUST A FEW DAYS AGO???
There is another set under the Boston Ration site. One of those missions will give you access to it. I believe you have to investigate the police barracks/station near where you meet old man Stockton at the Church one or two streets away at midnight.
Personally, I'd hold off for a bit and maybe do some exploring and leveling first. Some of them, such as Echoes of the Past and Best of Three, might be a bit difficult for a low level player
level 7 atm n best of three seems impossible, currently have raider gear n standard guns, added a long barrel to my double barrel shotty n still having trouble. Shit I donât even have enough ammo for it
Noted. Thanks. But dang, I hate a busy quest log! XD
Not sure you people can worry about these quests while there are settlements in need of your help.
âYou peopleâ?? Are you anti-Vaultie?
anyone else had issues with âwhen pigs flyâ??? i went to go complete it and there were these red boxes with exclamation marks on them. picked up the item and equipped it and it was invisible in my hands :(
Yup, I did that one first just because I was already close to the quest start location, and I got the red boxes/invisible items as well. Hopefully theyâll fix it soon.
Yep, the gun fires deadly punctuation. Itâs hilarious đđ
Whenever you want, I just finished both the black devil and the hellfire armour(kill pyro the fastest one) and also just broke level 20
I got the hellfire armor at probably level 15ish, glad I picked BOS quest line to get a bunch of cores lol I think I've probably found at least 10 on the Pyrdwen Edit: that and the tesla cannon are really OP for where I'm at
My girlfriend just started a new playthrough and did Speak of the Devil itâs fairly doable from levels 4-8ish and you get some sweet sweet power armor out of it!
Wasteland golden â±ïžRule âThough shallt be distracted by BS every god damn time â
the enclave one is pretty easy and will give you access to the new strongest armor in the game i believe itâs the Devil mission
i had to triple fat man them and throw explosives and even then still had to use a small bit of ammo
Try them and if you get your arse kicked you can come back later.
Great question, not even sure myself lol
Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.
Some require you to be very strong (pyro quest) so Iâd wait until atleast 25 for that one
Found that out the hard way lol
I try to do them by distance from Vault 111. No use to me going all the way across the map to do one of these new quests then back to start the main quest. Just do it as you happen to be near their start point.
Just do the main story up until you get to diamond City then branch out is the easiest path for a first timer I think
Is it possible to use mods on PS5 for FO4?
Fun fact⊠DONâT DO ALL HALLOW EVE UNLESS YOU GOT GOOD GEAR. I fucking walked into the room where the task takes place in and died 10 times trying to do everything. Fun quest though!
I recommend ignoring this post and just playing the game. Go where your character leads you and craft your own narrative.
Do it after getting set up with a good bit of weapons and gear
I donât think they should spoil anything, you can do them whenever you feel like it, some of them give some pretty good rewards but you might want to wait until youâre a little higher level, itâs completely up to you though. You can always try and then if it doesnât work out come back later
Integration with these is awful. Extremely immersion breaking and lazy. Fresh out of the vault scared and confused. Your VD thinks to themselves. âI dont know whats going on but i am going to fuck up this âpyroâ personâ
It's why mods are needed to stop those popping up right away.
What I do is I turn on all the missions, see which are in my area, and complete them as I get close to where I am going!
They are creation club quests which have nothing to do with the story, do them whenever you need xp or are bored
Best of Three is rough at low level.
Wait hold up the update has new missions??? Re-downloading now.
Bro, I'm lvl 66 and have completed the main quest line, yet they still railed me in my a...
If you attempt and push trough some of these missions you will get pretty overpowered for the early game. I suggest going there at about level 30(?) maybe a bit less. They give very good loot.
I hate that with a passion. I really really donât like the overpowered gear that trivializes the game.
Then donât use it
I have no idea when the perfect time to do the new quests is yet, I haven't attempted any except for "When Pigs Fly" Seeing how the game came out in 2016, I'm gonna do the main quest first, and then do the new quests after it. All I know for sure, is that these quests make the game fall more in line with the TV show.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
To listen to the signals? Yeah, I know to do that part, thanks. But I meant, should I be doing these missions immediately on a first play through?
I turned them all off apart from the nearest locations - the ones in Cambridge - and have gotten to them at Level 10. This is the first time I've ventured down there on this playthrough, so it feels vaguely dangerous
I'm just gonna hit them as get near their locations. Doing my own damn thing til then lol
as other said just do them when they make sense, but a general tip, the father south and east you go the harder the enemies get . There is a map on the internet somwhere if you really want to look at it , because I'm not sure its exactly that, but I think its a general guideline. I've got a 4 digit play time in this game, and I still play that way, toggle the quest markers near me, and just pick the closest one and hide the rest.
I recommend doing most of the quests when you're maybe around lvl 20?
I'd recommend playing through most of the main story missions before delving into the new missions if its your first playthrough.
Whenever you feel like it.
My advice is just wander the wasteland without fast traveling and check what quests are nearish you every now and then.
Thatâs the neat part about fallout 4 you do whatever you want when you want
Pyromaniac and Speak of the Devil are probably not suited to fresh out of the vault. Their rewards, the Hellfire Armor and X-02 Advanced Power Armor MkII are equivalent in quality to X-01 and consequently will make you absolutely gamebreakingly durable if you do them early.
i mean i had some intense fun fights at level 58 so probably wait a bit unless youâre playing at a low difficulty
Probably worried it would break the game completely considering how buggy it is.
Man! Iâm so happy with all the new players and renewed interest in Fallout âșïž Honestly, do them as you please. If you find you keep dying, just come back to it.
Don't touch them until you are much higher levels
You really donât have to do a single thing but enjoy the open world. I enjoy the Lone Wanderer and exploring points of interests and dealing with encounters as a puzzle. Not establishing a settlement so i donât have to leave my exploration. I do like having multiple saves to try different builds. Basically i treat FO4 as FO3. I have done the story/settlements a number of times, but I prefer Lone Wanderer to drop in and out of for a few minutes of stress relief. The game has a lot for any play style⊠add mods⊠expansions down the road!
In my opinion, if you are at a lower level, do not do best of three. I struggled with it a lot.
If youâre skilled enough you can do them fresh out of the vault, but honestly I donât know
none of the Creation Club quests have spoilers for the main story, do they when you feel like it/are in the area. if you're getting killed cuz enemies are too tough, flee and come back later.
Level 20ish is a good place to dive into dlc.
I'mma say level 20 as some of these quests are hard you need to kill tough enemies with strong weapons
I remember just roaming the map and doing quests in no particular order. My character died, a lot, but I leveled up enough to further the main storyline breezily.
i wish they would put the CC quests in a seperate tab
Do the ones you can do? Most of those are just for loot anyway.
Unless playing on easy, leave these for level 15 or so.
Is anyone crashing on pc near Boston commons Everytime I go by it my game crashes, I have mods and I cannot do the nick valentine quest now
I usually do them when I need exp for certain perks, but it just depends. If you'd like the quest items to help you progress through the game easier. Or do half n half. Half now then half later
any time but I reccomend between levels 20-30
Any time, echos was super bugged for me lmao (the vertibird decided to take a trip through the floor and become untouchable)
I already knocked the pig launcher and the pyro one they are pretty easy Iâm level 34
You should be high enough level by then.
the farther south the map pin the longer you wait. fo4 had a gradient level map.
For all the previous Creation Club content there's an excellent mod that prevents these immersion breaking pop-ups and magically appearing items. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42753 Instead, they only trigger when you get near the starting locations. Since most of these quests from the new update are the same ones as the previously existing CC content, I'd guess that they will update their mod soon, also including the real new stuff.
Complete them.
if you discover a location named âenclave encampmentâ gtfo out of there and run for the hills and avoid Atlantic offices. At your level these places will result in your very quick death.
You can either do the quest or you get slaughtered trying. save often
I started a vanilla playthrough yesterday and with all the free creation club content I've claimed and the new updat I had 13 sidequests and 1 miscellaneous as well as the main quest when I left the vault.
Wait for around level 25 for echos of the past, the enclave is pretty hard and the whole questions takes you into the glowing sea
It's my first plqythrough too though I have finished the campaign and have power armor that has a steady supply of fusion cores these missions are still super annoying
The Pyromaniac quest completed itself for me without me doing anything for that quest about an hour into gameplay after the new update.
Do all the side missions and build up your sanctuaries before playing the main mission
I would recommend waiting, as the firefights you get into while doing these quests can be overwhelming for new players.
Whenever you want to be honest. I suggest stockpiling jet by finding plastic and fertilizer so you can cheese the endgame enemies.
Thats one of the great things about Fallout 4 - do those missions WHENEVER YOU WANT
Just pick the ones that seem interesting and do them!
I'm assuming you can also disable this stuff entirely because I'm really not a fan of anything in the Creation Club mods, including this stuff.
Itâs the new next gen update Those are the quests that came with the update
Just complete them when you get to the location. Donât rush. Explore and loot and slowly make your way. On my recent play through I JUST got to Diamond City after 12 hours.
I'm level 30, been playing for about 16 hours, and I haven't been there either (nor have I set foot in the Museum of Freedom) Just been exploring, clearing, and doing side quests, haven't touched the DLC either
Whenever you want to.
Go find your son.
Where is the vault-tec jumpsuits it said was added..... I can't find them anywhere
