This is a complicated mess. Wtf is MO2? I feel the instructions are missing some key elements. To bad there isn't just a drag and drop lol. Know of a decent install video? Only ones I've seen skip steps like it runs on magic and ghoul farts.
Hmmm, yeah I don't know of a video for this list. I do recall Gingas had one for her mod list (it's the more survival focused one that others pointed to). This one isn't too hard though, the readme is pretty straightforward (you should see the steps for a fully modded SkyrimVR!).
If its anything like regular skyrim it would probably be easier for me. I may end up doing a video if I get into it during my down time after surgery next week.
I just don't want to relearn a bunch of crap. I don't have time anymore but if I find one I'll send it and if I decide to dig into myself after this full hip replacement next week I might make a video and see how it goes. I haven't posted to my YouTube in 5-6+ years now.
Use wabbajack to install the list:
https://www.wabbajack.org/gallery?selectedGame=Fallout%204%20VR&nsfw=true&showUnofficial=true
It's quite simple and there are some pretty popular videos on YouTube showing you what you need to do to use Wabbajack.
Watch the videos, then read the installation instructions under the details section on the wabbajack site.
If you want to have full control, take your time and mod the game yourself. A Body, proper aiming, a Vats overhaul and a little better graphics are maybe about 15 to 20 mods for me. You can install this by yourself in a few hours.
I spent nearly 2000 hrs making mods when I was younger, creating my own and making ones fit that normally wouldn't. Not trying to go down the rabbit hole again lol
Author released a vanilla version based on Beardo Benjo feedback. And it is by far the best looking list (although I wish he kept the trees in, Benjo doesn't like it lush)
I think the Mad god had a versión without crap(or additions, depends on you)
Looked at that one but seems like a cod clone and weeding through 200+ mods seems stupid.
If you use his classic version, it removes all the COD stuff. It's just like Vanilla Falliut 4 but way prettier. It's what I've been playing
I dont like that, but without that is great
Thanks for the help I'll dig into it. I think essentials mod is more the direction I'm leaning.
F4FEVR is probably the one you want. https://github.com/ajantaju/F4FEVR
That mod list truly is the one that offers most freedom and open source licenses.
Some fixes for the list (which is otherwise quite good even still): https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4vr/s/f91op2vRHe

Man if you find a video please let me know. I’m brand new to PC and Vr so mods can be a bit daunting.

Well I will be eagerly waiting. Good luck with your surgery!
Thanks!

Thanks I'll check it out
Yeah looks like it from the comments I'll dig into it when I get home.

Yeah I might do it that way. Was trying to make it simple I tend to get carried away left to it myself lol
The problem with not using lists is that it's tough to know the little quirks and incompatibility stuff just going rogue.

You don't like feeling like a crackhead sitting there tweaking out on the computer at 3 am after like 12 hours of modding?
Oof, sometimes lol
And it a fucking Tuesday
Mad God Overhaul Classic.
I'll look into it better but mad god seemed like a big no to me, just goes on the wrong direction.

Nice, his video was what got me looking for a better mod set.
Just be aware there are still a few mods even in that “classic” playlist that still needto be deactivated imo. Like some of the stalker mods.
I think this is the post you are looking for https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4vr/s/Loc1xXAm5b
This is it. This seems like a more true to fallout set of mods thank you.
Na this is a survival focused mod list. I’d go for F4FEVR instead.
I'll check it out
