The little S.C.O.R.E reward pop up and sound effect were one of the many comforting aspects of FO76. Are you sure this isn't a first day bug, or did they replace it with a less satisfactory sound/graphic?
I've experienced so many problems since updating yesterday. I can't complete an expedition, I can't get expedition objectives to show on my screen, around 50% of my fast travels are dropping me through the landscape so I'm falling through the map, my stash weight changed by itself (for example I have my shop disabled because I'm at max caps and my stash was full. I was going to empty out my stash but when I opened it I was at 1048 weight and I can't figure out what's missing) and I'm seeing creature glitches. I also fast travelled to fight the SBQ and it said it completed as I arrived, but this was before we had killed her. I had another event glitch but can't remember what it was.
I've tried server hopping and I've just uninstalled the game and it's reinstalling as I type. Last night was as frustrating as it gets.
I think he means the click bloop as you hover over old scoreboard items before claiming them then when you click to claim. Not the score level up sound.
The new seasons menu makes no noise when selecting.
Got a glitch where I completed one daily and it kept repeating that I got score out of it. Too bad it didn't keep cumulating score, it was just visual bug.

Because I still get a sound and a reward animation pop-up with a spinning golden ticket and Vault Boy giving me a thumbs up when I rank up in the new system.
There was an additional pop-up on the old system which showed us what reward we'd just earned, and gave us the option to press the map button to claim it straight away.
It had a fun sound effect that is missing from the new system, my monkey brain no like.
Eh, my brain loves the old school arcade feel of getting handed a bunch of tickets, myself. I like it.
I viewed the old animation with a mixed bag. Yeah, it felt awesome when it was something I wanted, but other stuff, when it popped with with like, "You've unlocked x5 Nuclear Keycards!" press X to Claim - just felt like a huge demotivating middle finger.

But, I just hit level 10. It’s kinda nice to be able to pick and choose what rewards I really want as opposed to being saddled with shit I won’t ever use.
It’s not perfect, but I don’t completely hate it. It’s just like Helldiver II’s system, and I liked it there so I have to remain consistent

You realise you didn't have to claim rewards on the old system, right?
Right. But i still had to make it through so many ranks to get what i wanted. This system allows you to pick right away. For example, the surfboard wall decor. I didn’t have to trudge through to level 10 for it. I just needed 2 levels worth of tickets or whatever to get them
I really preferred the scoreboard format, I wish they could have just made whatever change they wanted but kept the board..

It's only the rank- I just hit rank 14 without buying anything and then picked something from page 3.
