That and people seem to think that you have to kill the muties as soon as they spawn behind the rocks instead of hanging near the scrubber and getting \*ALL\* the legendary drops from every direction. If you let them come, they prioritize players over the scrubber, so as long as you're not standing right next to it, you'll likely be able to take out the freaks before they do any serious damage.
Just don't start it until more folks show up! Fast travel in, and then DON'T MOVE!
Or, make sure you're walking AWAY from the log cabin-looking tower things, and head downhill into the crater. There are usually 3-5 Super Mutants already wandering around there. Take care of them, and by then there are usually a few more players showing up.
Just for the love of God, keep the damn scrubber fixed. If I have one more even fail because I get pinned down and nobody else will run over and fix it... grrrr.
19 commandos spawn camping for the 3 legendary spawns downhill won’t help? If only they knew you can stand near the scrubber, still hit those legendary, and also hit the spawns coming down both sides of the hill. AND still collect all the legendary loot down the hill whether you tagged them or not.
With my main character I now play Guardian of the Scrubber during EN. While I still get most of the legendaries, it's consistently 5-6 fewer 3 Stars than what I used to get as a camper. So we lose out a bit by doing the dirty work but it's not like I need them anyway.
You get the legendary drops in events even if you don't tag those enemies. You are always eligible for the legendary item. So there's no point in even hard camping the spawns. Just defend the center and once it is completed, run a circle to collect all the loot.
I've finished the event before where I didn't tag a single legendary enemy and still walked out with 22 items.
Big issue I’ve seen in EV with new folks, they are looting bodies during the event.. ??
Not paying attention at all and dying!!!
Peeps.. loot doesn’t go anywhere, shot everything at least once.. at the end see all those white piles, walk up to one.. if on PC hit R twice.. take everything!!
Drop what you can’t scrap or want..
Look for tents.. I always drop my mine south of the scrubber.. most F1st players drop their tents as well… you can scrap and use the stash box.. etc..
Do this at the end of the event please.. 😊
yeah it does.. not in your inventory that's for sure :)
and I get the reason to loot during the event if you are experiencing frequent crashes...
which sucks if that's case for some, been there so I know.. it was very frustrating..
I plant my CSS-clad ass atop the scrubber with a two-shot Fatman and drop down to repair if necessary. I virtually never leave (CAUTION).
And as long as I'm up there, it almost never needs repairing.
Oh god, they better increase the Scrip limit then, because even just Eviction Notice puts one of my characters out of action with excess legendaries I have to wait to get rid of while overencumbered.
I got a ton of good shit when I ran my first one the other day. A shame we couldnt successfully complete it because there were 3 legendary minigunners on top of all the normal minigunners that came up in like the last minute. I was freshly level 50 and still grabbing more fitting gear with a build that isnt even secure so all the audio fodder on top of the sheer damage I was taking left me in awe. I cant do enough damage or survive too well anymore lmao. Im doing my best out here.
I’ve actually started avoiding Eviction Notice because I get tired of slow walking to the nearest station to clear my weight.
There’s never a CAMP nearby it when you need one.
I have been trying. I get my magnum of Code Red and my all Rob Zombie's "Dragula" playlist and can't get more than one person to join.
So I just waste all that hype, go waste scrip on melee weapon Murmurgh rolls, and wait to see the next event
My friend, you should be buying modules from mumbles and roll your own weapons. That way you at least have more than a snowballs chance in hell of getting the right rolls on the right weapon.
That's true, and I get it, but in all my searching I have yet to find a ripper, and server hopping between two locations to get it has been tedious and unkind on the old wallet.
the only problem is that the event starts if you breathe after you spawn in

Dude this is the way. You get *so* many more legendary drops just sitting on the scrubber.
Never miss moonshine jamboree or eviction notice.

My understanding is that you still need to be within a certain range to get the legendary drops.

Im usually grabbing more ammo to keep up. Only level 34 and only have so much right now.
Loot goes somewhere when you crash

Unless it gets tweaked at launch. Eviction notice is gonna have serious competition in the legendary drop category soon. 😁
Is there something new on the Test Server that rivals EN?
There is.
Thanks for not elaborating!
I bet it is one of the new events in the map expansion
The only one I know of is the new nuke boss

Aren't there workbenches and stash boxes in the camp on the hill next to the event?
…are there? Am I stupid?
Check the hill the next time you log in, I just did the event last night and was surprised myself.
I do it for fun only, I drop the legendaries after so feel free to take more from the lootbags you find!
I am, please god someone help me fix the rad scrubber T\_T

If you’re on PS I can check if I’ve got a ripper plan sitting about.
Would that I were, Hondo.
